Neither of those would last 10 minutes.

 

Ideally Saab Gripen would be best suited, but not sure how practical that is in the reasonable future.

 

F16 maybe, availability good, but not really suited to rough runways and has fairly complex maintenance issues.

 

With the GBAD environment I would have thought the need is for air defense. Probably would not need that many equipped with Meteors.

 

Anyway my thoughts but interested in others.

They were never much of anything to begin with. They're invading a country in a war they don't believe in and being defeated every day by the Ukrainian army.
