You can get married now no problem, but I-130 is not petitionable until she visits. No one is stopping you from filing, we r only stopping you from getting denied.

I got married through Utah January 5, 2021 my wife visited again October 2021 that same year and we filed the following month November.

How long were each of the visits and is your wife planning on visiting you again?

You said you already met with your wife, before you got married right? In my case, both of us haven’t met in person. She’s planning to visit before the year ends and might not have the opportunity to visit again in order to consummate the marriage. I also don’t want to stay in the US for a whole year without traveling if we apply for fiancé visa, as I have businesses to handle. So, is it possible for me to marry online now and petition during/after her first visit?

Nobody knows whether you'll "be fine" because we don't know the full circumstances and we don't know even if the relationship is genuine on both sides.  Getting a petition approved is the easy part.  Getting the actual visa is where most to the consideration is given to the relationship bona fides.

Adding to my own post.  To the OP:  Don't forget you are coming from Nigeria.

Among US family based immigration experts, Consulates are ranked in four categories, as to how much immigration fraud they deal with.  The categories are as follows.

Low fraud, medium fraud, high fraud, and Lagos.

Are you sure marrying someone you've never met is a good idea?

Nigeria is a high fraud country so they really want to see a lot of in person time together.

Your petition will probably be approved but it is very unlikely you'll receive the visa with marriage before meeting and only one meeting.

If your wife comes to visit she should try to stay for at least 3 weeks to a month. And then plan on returning 2-3 times before you interview.

I got married online through Utah too(I'm a Nigerian as well) but it was after my wife's second visit. You should be fine if she's able to visit before you actually file cos if she files before she visits, she'd be giving out free $535.00 to USCIS.

I just got my expedite request approved at USCIS level as well and should be heading to NVC soon. I do hope it works out well for u!

Your approval at USCIS was pretty fast. Just two months. What did you provide for your expedite? Can I chat you privately?

If she's planning to visit, why not marry when she's there in person?  What's the hurry to marry before she visits?  It's big red flag to marry on the first visit but it can be overcome, particularly if it's a long visit.  It's a much bigger red flat (particularly for Nigeria) to marry BEFORE ever meeting.
