Is there any possibility Ukraine will be added to the Visa waiver program?

or that there will be expedited tourist visas for non-resident spouses while our CR-1s slowly progress?

Seriously doubt VWP

Actually Biden was proposing something of that ilk before the election but have not heard of anything since

“If you know the enemy and know yourself, you need not fear the result of a hundred battles. If you know yourself but not the enemy, for every victory gained you will also suffer a defeat. If you know neither the enemy nor yourself, you will succumb in every battle.”

I see no indication of either of those in foreseeable future.  The system is not made for speedy processing for legal applicants.   The process requires a lot of patience.

In summary, it took 13 months for approval of the CR-1.  It took 44 months for approval of the I-751.  It took 4 months for approval of the N-400.   It took 172 days from N-400 application to Oath Ceremony.   It took 6 weeks for Passport, then 7 additional weeks for return of wife's Naturalization Certificate..

September 1, 2021? So you’re saying you contacted the email above and they expedited your processing? Is your file currently being processed in Kyiv? Thanks!

I wrote to kyiviv@state.gov on Saturday as soon as I read this, No response. I have no idea what  eligible for transfer means. I just asked them what they could do for my wife.

This is their response.

We cannot expedite the case that is currently pending USCIS approval.

You may check on the status of your I-130 here: https://egov.uscis.gov/casestatus/landing.do

Since your I-130 form is pending with USCIS, you may contact USCIS about the possibility to expedite it.  More details about this process are available here: How to Make an Expedite Request | USCIS

Once your I-130 is approved, you will receive an Approval Notice and then a notification from the National Visa Center with the case number (KEV+10 digits) and further instructions.

At this point, you would be able to contact NVC to request an expeditious processing of your case by submitting a scanned letter (or statement) to NVCExpedite@state.gov

I just want to inform everyone here that the expedite B1/B2 appointment policy is the same as it always was.  I do not understand why the article from forhimdating.blog state only immediate family members will be considered.  I contacted the embassy in October to try to get an expedited B2 interview for my nephew, and they sent me the same link:

https://ustraveldocs.com/ua/ua-niv-expeditedappointment.asp

It is for those with medical care needs in the States (with documented evidence) or to attend a funeral.  There is also the Urgent Business, Student and ESTA categories, but none of those apply for most B2 applicants.

An alternate option that may be available for family members a B2 appointment in Poland.  I know they accept applicants from other countries and even have a separate category for scheduling non-resident B2 visas.   Both Warsaw and Krakow seems to process B2's for non-residents of Poland.  We thought about trying it but was able to get an appointment in May for our Nephew, and he needed to be in school until then anyways.
