online I-130 Evidence to support the petition

We are filing I-130 online (both living overseas) as we would like to move to USA. My husband is USA citizen, been married 15 years, we have attached all the required information online but are stumped at the additional evidence to support the petition...

 

We have no idea what do they mean - and can we skip this part?? What are these records for? Anyone can please guide me? Thank you

 

  The following types of secondary evidence may be submitted to establish eligibility:

• Religious record
• School records
• Census records
• Written statements

If you submitted the necessary primary evidence (i.e. US birth certificate, US passport) to establish eligibility to file the petition then those shouldn't be needed; those are generally for individuals who don't have access to their birth certificate.

Yes, there's required supporting documentation and then there's evidence of bona fide relationship.  When reading instructions, be sure to follow the context by paying attention to the small words like "if", "and", "or" etc.
