specifically instructed in I-485 to submit copies but not for the emp letter

I dont see the word "copy" for the letter from the employer in the instructions part of I-485.

It is specifically instructed to submit a copy for other supporting documents.

It does mean that i have to submit the employer's letter in original..and not a scanned/photocopied one..

right??

You're not specifically instructed to supply an employment letter, its optional. That said, I'm sure a copy would suffice.

I didn't submit an employment letter with my I-485 application. Instead, I provided an original to the officer during the AOS interview. I'm with Dr_LHA, if you want to submit the employment letter with your application, a copy should be fine.
