Quick question in regards to filling out the ds-160.

When filling out the previous travel information it asks you if you have ever traveled to the United States (which i have to stay with my fiancé). Now the next question asks "Have you ever been issued a U.S Visa"

Now looking at my recent 1-94 it states (Class Of Submission: B2) is the B2 classified as a "U.S Visa"?

I'm not sure if aim suppose to select yes or no here since I've only ever gone down there to see my fiancé and it was always as a "Tourist" when entering the United states.

Thanks

A B1/B2 is a tourist visa. So the answer is "yes"

As you are apparently a Canadian citizen the answer is almost surely “no” as Canadians are visa exempt

B-2 class of admission doesn’t imply B-2 visa.

Being a Canadian myself, out of thousands of Canadians I’ve met, only one ever had an actual B-1/B-2 visa.

If you have never applied for a B2 visa and just presented your Canadian passport to enter the US, then your answer should be "No".  Canadian passport holders normally do not require a US tourist visa to be able to visit the US, although they are admitted on B2 status.  Admission status is not the same as visa.

Even if my stay was for 4 months?

I think the reason they submitted me on the B2 is because i usually stay down in the U.S with her for 4 months a year. But they never said anything about it to me about a visa when entering.

Did you file DS-160? Did you have a B-2 interview at a USA consulate? Did you give your passport to a USA consulate? Did you get a visa affixed to a blank page?

I’m sure all these answers are no.

So your answer is still no.

If you answer yes, prepare for an RFE to produce something that doesn’t exist.
