Curious is there a way you can go online and get information on your old denied that happen in 2018.

because my now husband at the time  we were still friends was trying to get a tourist visa to visit me. He was denied cause couldn’t proof strong ties to his country . But he said they didn’t even look at his docs . At the time he was only a student in college and no job. Could this be a reason since they  look at  what’s was on the online application.

Been trying to see if I can help him retrieve old information.

we married now

we about to file cr1

just wanted to prepare in case this comes up

The Consulate Officers are under no obligation to look at his documents.  Yes, being a student with no job was , likely, a big factor in the denial.  It will not be a factor in your spousal visa case.  There is no requirement for strong ties to home country for an immigrant visa.

In summary, it took 13 months for approval of the CR-1.  It took 44 months for approval of the I-751.  It took 4 months for approval of the N-400.   It took 172 days from N-400 application to Oath Ceremony.   It took 6 weeks for Passport, then 7 additional weeks for return of wife's Naturalization Certificate..

The CO had already seen enough to make a decision.....the documentation on the application.  As I said, it is not a factor for a spousal visa.  Good luck on the rest of your journey.
