Ok, now I see your timeline. Your profile says "filed for K-1" and you posted in the Adjustment of Status forum, so that's why it was confusing. I just read your interview experience was smooth, so that's good to know!

Update - went to our local ASC . There was no one there & got our biometrics done in no time.  Thanks everyone for all the valuable information.
