Issue with Police Records

My fiancé currently lives in Hong Kong, and her parents have been trying to get her police records from mainland china for our k1 visa. Her dad spent 3 days waiting at the police after travelling back to their home city and needing to pay them ~$200, offer up many certificates, and interviewed her parents. After all of this, the year on her records was marked as 1995, when she was born in 1994. We feel this shouldn't be an issue, but out of concern with how strict immigration can be we tried to get them to fix this error and the police office refused to do anything about it at all. Her parents are getting frustrated needing to spend much of their holiday time helping their daughter move away, and honestly, we're both getting stressed over the immigration process. Could anyone offer some advice on if this time gap would cause any issues when she goes to her visa interview? Aside from the time period of her being a baby, it covers her entire time in china.
