its pretty much impossible to get the number from a money order, although you can go online and see when it was cashed. or you can call the toll free number for which ever money order service you used. follow their instructions and you should find out when its cashed. then you'll simply have to wait for delivery of your NOA1. 22 Feb 08 - Moscow Interview! (APPROVED!!!)..Yay!

24 Mar 08 - Sasha and Jason reunite in the U.S. :)

29 Dec 08- Alexander is born

11 Jan 10 - AOS / AP / EAD package sent

I was always considering NOA1 the date I got my receipt number, but I guess it is the date "received" on the USCIS website which would be 7-18-2007.

I still don't have a NOA1 Hardcopy yet...

Weedebz, can you change mine from 7/21/07 to 7/18/07 ?? Thanks!

24 JUL 07 : K1 arrived in Lincoln, NE

24 JUL 07 : USPS status of package: DELIVERED:)

02 AUG 07 : NOA1 from CSC

03 DEC 07: NOA2

12 DEC 07: NVC Receives

14 DEC 07: NVC sends to Bangkok

17 DEC 07: Consulate receives

08 JAN 08: Packet 3 sent

08 JAN 08: Given date of interview

11 JAN 08: Interview...approved already before getting to the window!...NO questions asked

25 JAN 08: My lady arrives in IAD-Washington DC:)

19 APR 08: Married in Alexandria, VA (5 days before Visa expires)

20 JUN 08: Mailing in AOS packet

18 DEC 09: GREEN CARD RECEIVED:)

Mine was received July 18th, and nothing in the mail yet. how do you think I feel? LOL

Mid-June filer, Mid-July NOA1 :(...

6/21/07 - I-129F Sent : transferred to CSC at some point...

7/12/07 - Received date as shown on NOA1 Hardcopy

7/18/07 - NOA1

7/21/07 - Check FINALLY Cashed!!!

7/24/07 - Finally got receipt number off the back of cancelled check!

11/23/07 - Our first ever touch!

11/27/07 - Touched on website

11/28/07 - NOA2!!!!!!!!

I-129f was approved in 160 days from your filing date.

12/21/07 - Received at NVC and assigned case number!

12/27/07 - Case forwarded to USEM

01/04/07 - Case received by USEM

02/25/08 - Scheduled St. Luke's Medical Appointment 7:00 AM

03/03/08 - Interview at USEM APPROVED

No, you should not worry about this. The document that is a must to have in hand is the NOA2. You already have you case #, so I'd seriously stop stressing. And NO, your application has not been lost! They cashed your check, you have a case number!!!!! Its all good!

WOOT finally got my NOA1 look like us last minute fully filers are finally getting attention for reference my packet was received on the 27th so that is 1 month to the day my NOA1 arrived and my check was cashed on the same day...

Hold in there fellas you are around the corner!

BTW I filled TSC but was xfered to VSC

:thumbs: CONGRATULATIONS!!!! That's really a great feeling, isn't it?? Now we can really feel we are in the process!! Mine was also transferred to VSC. Do we consider the time they recieved it or the date they send it back?

08/02/2008 - Delivered

08/16/2008 - Biometrics letter recieved

09/09/2008 - Biometrics at 1pm, Omaha

09/26/2008 - AOS transferred to CSC

09/29/2008 - AOS touched (took out envelope at CSC and put in new pile)

10/03/2008 - AOS touched (probably that RFE coming soon!!!!)

10/06/2008 - AOS touched AGAIN!!! (surely it's an RFE)

10/15/2008 - EAD CARD PRODUCTION ORDERED!!!!YEY!!!

I'm curious also did they register files on arrival, and just did not have time to issue NOA-1'S and cash checks? I mean will we loose overall time in process because NOA-1 is late?

Has anyone had any form of activity/touches since NOA1? I know it doesn't mean much right now if there's no touches, but nice to feel alive! :wacko:

nope, no touches, but my case is 'received and pending' :D

the Oxford Dictionary defines 'pending' as 'lying on a shelf gathering dust', or 'locked away in a room to which no one has a key', or occasionally 'completely ignored' ;)

Day One: Went to Council of Elrond. Was prettiest person there. Agreed to follow some tiny little man to Mordor to throw ring into volcano. Very important mission - gold ring so tacky.

Day Six: Far too dark in Mines of Moria to brush hair properly. Am very afraid I am developing a tangle.

Orcs so silly.

Still the prettiest.

Day 35: Boromir dead. Very messy death, most unnecessary. Did get kissed by Aragorn as he expired. Does a guy have to get shot full of arrows around here to get any action? Boromir definitely not prettier than me. Cannot understand it. Am feeling a pout coming on.

Frodo off to Mordor with Sam. Tiny little men caring about each other, rather cute really.

Am quite sure Gimli fancies me. So unfair. He is waist height, so can see advantages there, but chunky braids and big helmet most off-putting. Foresee dark times ahead, very dark times.
