Just checking in with my fellow July filers. Congratz to you all with recent approvals of noa2, medicals, interviews etc... Awesome news.

I'm having a better day so far today & thought I'd check in here. Most days lately it's too hard to come on this thread but today I'm feeling hopeful. I got a letter from congress yesterday stating they are checking into our case again. I know it doesn't really do much, but at least it reminds uscis that they have to check on things and not just let it sit there. I wonder if I'll ever get to know what took so long for our name checks.

Anyhoo gratz to everyone who's moving along.

Good luck with it...

Congrats on the recent interviews!!!!

Well, we got a touch today. At least that means that congress got through to USCIS and they actually looked at our file. I don't want to get my hopes up again though so I'm gonna just wait & see what happens tomorrow.

3/5/11 sent LOC paperwork

3/9/11 date of NOA

?/?/?? biometrics appointment

I have no idea why it takes so long. I still have no noa2 and most of July filers got approved. I really feel like we are not gonna be approved until April. I am soo worried. My fiance was told by a lady on the phone to request to expeidate once march 14th is over.

Any idea how that works? I thought an expidite isn't available for fiance visas and would be something that's done at the start of the process anyway. Do you have special circumstances that they list on the uscis website? I've heard of people doing a "service request" with uscis when their case takes too long like ours, but not an expidite. I'm curious.
