my fiance sent off our I-129F package on July 18, registered mail, and was notified that it was delivered on the 19th... we would have sent it to Texas, but thanks to VJ knew we could send it straight to Vermont, so have already saved ourselves some time... in fact, even now at the beginning of the process, VJ has already been absolutely invaluable; I've read dozens of threads in here, looking for tips, and we both used the guides and samples extensively, so thank you to all

Our package got there literally a day before yours, so hopefully our NOA1's arrive around similar dates!

Gratz! I put a copy of my confirmation e-mail from USPS on our website to add to the whole documenting process of our visa journey So exciting seeing other people going through the same thing at the same time

I have my entire petition posted on my site, with all the sensitive information redacted of course. Not only does it keep me busy but I like feeling 'connected' to the entire process! It was also a good way for Natasha to be able to see everything. It's difficult to believe you have not made an error someplace, though, no matter how much research (like here on VJ) you've done and how many pieces of evidence to prove your relationship you provide. At some point we all just believe we have done all that we can, and checked over all the information enough, and send in our petition and hope we receive no RFEs!

Man, you are SO right, with all of the above... my fiance and I went over it about five times, and I reminded him of all the tips I read in the RFE thread(s) - 'Have you signed the cheque?' 'Is it for the right amount?' 'Check your address again', etc etc, and still I'm nervous that we stuffed something up

Completely agree!!! I was actually on the phone with my SO doing the same thing with the RFE thread "have you done this?" "have you checked that?" "are you sure you know what you're doing?" Then copying and pasting huge chunks into yahoo messenger in case the verbal wasn't enough

It's in California now.. It took me a full month just to have my check cashed. I didnt know what was going on. I was posting in the June thread the whole time. I'm just glad its there now.

So, now that we July filers are waiting around for NOA-2, how exactly do we resist the overwhelming urge to check our petition status online several times per day, even though we have signed up for email notification and haven't received any email? It's a completely illogical thing to do, and yet it is also completely compulsive. Or am I the only one???
