so, since i have nothing better to do but wait for the interview date, i figured i might as well start planning the wedding...i want a small (50 people maximum), intimate reception at a cozy restaurant with a mediterranean feel, in order to emphasize where we met (italy), and where my fiance is from (albania)...these are my top two choices so far:

im trying to think of what sort of music i would like to have in the restaurant...i want some live music, i was thinking maybe an acordion player, like the ones that play in the streets in italy, but im open to suggestion...something to go with the general mood of those restaurants

I'm waiting on an interview date too

it's only just over a week since I sent back the final bits from Packet 3, so I don't think I'm massively overdue, but I'm still getting impatient

it's just torturous, isn't it? Dave's had some really long days at work this week, so we haven't even been able to SPEAK to each other... whole thing's a bloody joke

I've also been unable to find out how long it generally takes to get a date out of London, so I don't even know when to get worried

I'll give it a few more days, and then maybe call them... I'd be hopeless calling them now anyway; I can barely speak

i would give it two weeks from mailing and then give them a ring to see if anything is up

it is funny that adriano and i miss eachother so much that we havent had a real argument in months!!

a few months ago we argued frequently (every week or so), and then we would make up and so goes the story...these days im having trouble remembering what that was like...so strange how these things work

s'funny, Dave and I have never had an out-and-out barney... we've had disagreements, and misunderstandings, but never any yelling, or anything that lasted very long

and NOTHING recently... I think we just miss each other too much

I'm trying to work out 'how long' too. My case is only just at NVC but I started tracking London petitions on a little spreadsheet I made last night. I've only included petitions from the end of November to present and the average number of days between returning Packet 3 and interview is 37 days. However do bear in mind that the inclusion of December has meant that some of the paperwork will have been delayed. I reckon 4 weeks should be around about right.

I wonder whether I should have just done an average over a 12 month period.

Jess and I have had two massive arguments, each of them occurred as a result of this process and roughly 3 or 4 weeks after separating. Things seem to improve a lot when either a flight has been booked or more recently when we got our NOA2

I've thrown a few tantrums, mainly from all the wedding planning but BG has been pretty patient and laid back...which sometimes irritates me more!

I'm sick now

Stuffy nose, but no running.

Hurts to swallow, but no cough.

Weird IMO cause I have no fever either. Was going to the doctor tomorrow anyway so I decided no need to make a run to see him.

Went to the Doc, forgot to have him look at my throat... I'm feeling better now.

I do have the sniffles and a cough now but the swallowing thing is gone. Nyquil should be all I need.

He does want me to lose 20 pounds thou. Says it should lower my blood preasure.

I think its the stress of Charry's interview being in a few weeks. But, I could stand to lose some weight.

Umm..... I did get a flu shot. This strain was a mutated strain not protected by the flu shot.

Hope you feel better too. I just was diagnosed with the Flu Type A today, after I had the flu shot too. I thought I was sore from moving and carting all those boxes...then I spiked a fever. Sigh....what a valentine's day huh?

On the good news front, Peter has his medical interview on the 29th, so hopefully he'll have his consular interview date sent soon. I have a week's holiday the week of March 17th, so we're hoping to get hitched then....we shall see.....
