Wow and to think that all of us were fretting and impatient for our NOA2's a few months ago!. Well, Ricardo picked up his packet 3 at the Panama Embassy today, and he was surprised at how "easy" the forms he has to fill are. He's very excited, fortunately the lady at the embassy explained everything to him: all he needs to do is turn in some forms so he can set a date for the interview; and they also explained to him which documents he will need for the interview. I don't know who's more excited me or him! Anyways, hopefully the next time I'll be posting here is for when he gets his interview......we're almost at the finish line

God luck and God Bless you all!

Hey Everyone,

I thought I would update the July filers. We sent our I-129F on July 11, 2007. And I have my interview at the Vancouver Consulate this Wednesday (Feb. 13, 2008). Yay!

Good luck to you all!

Oh congratulations! Nice to see some Canadian interviews happening within a reasonable timeframe. Good luck at interview!

Thanks!

I was surprised we got the interview so quickly. What happened was... we had faxed in the DS-230 Part 1... but for some reason the fax messed up and they only received the first page. So I got a call directly from the Vancouver Consulate asking me to re-fax the papers, and the guy said "while you're on the phone I can go ahead and schedule you for an interview". He asked what day I wanted and I said ASAP, so he gave me a date which was less than two weeks from the phone call. Crazy! I think we may have lucked out by accident because of the fax issues.

Just thought I'd share.

:)

Yaaay , good luck on ur part...

Just keeping ya'll updated.

René had his interview today and was approved :)

Congrats!!! that's great news!!1

Sorry I've been quiet the past week but I got sick... I'm so pleased to read about all the interviews. That's just fantastic!!!

My hard copy NOA2 came in the mail yesterday and I think I've read it about 10 times already. I love that part that says that the "USCIS has completed all action" and that further inquires should go to the NVC.

02/05/08 --- After 191 days NOA2 (Approval) comes at last!!!!

2/25/08 --- She receives Packet 3 from the Embassy

3/29/08 --- She receives Packet 4 with interview date (July 11th).

3/30/08 --- I e-mail the Embassy asking to make the date earlier because I've already got our tickets for June 13th!!!

5/6/08 --- No help from the Embassy. Rebooked tickets and vacation till September.

I'm sick now :(

Stuffy nose, but no running.

Hurts to swallow, but no cough.

Weird IMO cause I have no fever either. Was going to the doctor tomorrow anyway so I decided no need to make a run to see him.

I'm sick now :(

Sorry to hear that and I know how you feel. I started to feel it in my throat last Monday then by Wednesday night I knew I was sick so I called in at work on Thursday & Friday and basically slept from Wednesday until Saturday a.m. when I HAD to go in. Spent the rest of the weekend in bed as well and still today don't feel that great but at least it's all coming out and my chest feels quite a bit better. Hopefully by the end of the week I'll be off of the cold pills.

The Very Secret Diary of Legolas Son of Weenus - by Cassandra Claire

Day One: Went to Council of Elrond. Was prettiest person there. Agreed to follow some tiny little man to Mordor to throw ring into volcano. Very important mission - gold ring so tacky.

Day Six: Far too dark in Mines of Moria to brush hair properly. Am very afraid I am developing a tangle.

Orcs so silly.

Still the prettiest.

Day 35: Boromir dead. Very messy death, most unnecessary. Did get kissed by Aragorn as he expired. Does a guy have to get shot full of arrows around here to get any action? Boromir definitely not prettier than me. Cannot understand it. Am feeling a pout coming on.

Frodo off to Mordor with Sam. Tiny little men caring about each other, rather cute really.

Am quite sure Gimli fancies me. So unfair. He is waist height, so can see advantages there, but chunky braids and big helmet most off-putting. Foresee dark times ahead, very dark times.

I'm just getting over the worst flu I've ever had. It lasted about 1 week. Its like an epidemic! my fever hit 105.3 degrees (F). Felt like death. Couldn't even stand. The next time an illness like this comes around, I hope my Sasha is here with me. Its one thing to get very sick, but another thing if you have to care for yourself somehow. Anyway I hope everyone pulls through, as I have. Lots of liquids, Vitamin C, Nyquil, and plenty of fresh changes of clothes for those extremely sweaty nights. I wouldn't wish this on anyone. Good luck.
