Still totally buzzing that I got through immigration with absolutely no more hassle than normal :D

I was surprised we got the interview so quickly. What happened was... we had faxed in the DS-230 Part 1... but for some reason the fax messed up and they only received the first page. So I got a call directly from the Vancouver Consulate asking me to re-fax the papers, and the guy said "while you're on the phone I can go ahead and schedule you for an interview". He asked what day I wanted and I said ASAP, so he gave me a date which was less than two weeks from the phone call. Crazy! I think we may have lucked out by accident because of the fax issues.

Just thought I'd share.

Wow! It's great to hear that things can go in 'our' favour sometimes. I might try messing up the paperwork when I send my packet 3 back. Or maybe not! :P

Allright, quickly tried to catch up with everything going on here. There is SOOOO much activity and most of it is GOOD!!!

CONGRATULATIONS babblesgirl :thumbs: and everyone else who received their NOA2s!!!

And CONGRATULATIONS to Debz and Aly...you are way ahead!

CBR, I hope you get yours soon, we are all rooting for you.

My interview is on March 04th :) .. thats also mum and dad's 32nd wedding anniversary :star: ... Hope thats a sign :blush::blush::blush: [/b][/color]

Congrats Parul! It seems at New Delhi, its taking a lot shorter than Mumbai. Bhushan dropped off Packet 3 on Feb 4th and received his interview date - April 14th. And your mum and dads anniversary's got to be lucky!

Meanwhile, heres what going on with us. Bhushan submitted his Packet 3 on Feb 4th and received Packet 4 in less than a week. But the interview is on April 14th! It takes almost 2 and months at the Mumbai Embassy. Thankfully and surprisingly, I havent been too stressed out lately, its all going smooth after the NOA2...well so far. Keeping fingers crossed for a smoother interview and POE.

HEY YOU GUYS I HAVE A QUESTION REGARDING INTERVIEW. I HAVEN'T BEEN WORKING SINCE OCTOBER 13, 2007 DUE TO A CAR ACCIDENT BUT I HAVE BEEN RECIEVING CHECKS FROM MY INSURANCE FOR LOSS OF WAGE SO WOULD THAT COUNT AS INCOME? If your 2007 tax return is over the 125% poverty line, it doesnt matter the source of income.
