Between the two of you I think there was enough unnecessary worry to power a small city for a couple days.;)

Glad she's past all that now and can focus on the good stuff.

I thought I was a worrier, then I "met" Debz and Aly!!!! World class worriers!!!! They make me look relaxed!!!

Hey Debz.....congratz on your interview! I know it's late, I've been packing. I'm moving this weekend!

Aly....glad to have you in the states for a bit. Hope all goes smoothly while you're here. You two have fun.

I'll be off the radar a bit because of the move...to update everyone on our case: Peter is waiting for the army to send him his discharge papers (they failed to send them since December...they posted them the other day with a rush on it)...then he can finish his packet 3 and send it off. I'm still hoping for a March wedding even if it's a courthouse one. Everyone cross your fingers but don't hold your breath! All for now.

Congrats on any Noa2's I've been away for a bit! TTFN friends....I'll post more soon!

Nope Julez, no news. I called uscis recently and was given the same line. It's in security checks, name checks, extended review blah blah blah. They all mean the same thing. I'm hopeful that it will be soon. It's got to be any time now. I sure hope they have foolproof systems so they don't have me confused with someone who has a record or something like that.

Now this is weird. I called USCIS yesterday and went through the prompts to talk to a "live human being" and she told me that my petition was being worked on. I said - no - I received a letter from the National Visa Center that says my petition was approved and within a week it would be sent to London. She said - and I quote - "Oh, someone must not have updated the system." (AND YOUR POINT IS?) So, she put me on hold and when she came back on the line, she said that they would mail out a duplicate NOA2. Duplicate? You didn't send me the initial NOA2.

Really, they don't know anything. CBR, I think that you should DEMAND to talk to someone who knows something.

When I looked on the USCIS site, they have updated it to say:

*** DO NOT RESPOND TO THIS E-MAIL ***

The last processing action taken on your case

Receipt Number: WAC0721452600

Application Type: I129F , PETITION FOR FIANCE(E)

Current Status: Duplicate notice sent.

decision on this case, or describing how we will process the case if it

is still pending. Please follow any instructions on the notice. If this

I129F, PETITION FOR FIANCE(E) is still pending, you will be notified

by mail when a decision is made, or if the office needs something from

you. If you move while this case is pending, contact our customer

service at 1-800-375-5283. Note that we process each kind of case in the

processing dates. You can also receive automatic-email updates as we process

your case by following the link below to register. Your case is at our

CALIFORNIA SERVICE CENTER location.

If you have questions or concerns about your application or the case

status results listed above, or if you have not received a decision from

USCIS within the current processing time listed*, please contact USCIS

Customer Service at (800) 375-5283.

DUHHHHHHHH!!! It doesn't say anything about being approved does it?

Then about 10 minutes later, I received this email:

Jeraly - so glad to hear that you made it to my side of the pond. Everything will go just fine. Deep breaths. Remind Jeremy to bend the knees (you'll know why) during the ceremony. Enjoy. Waiting for lots of pictures.

CBR - seriously - kick some a$$!

Mox - you've been very quiet. Are you sick? LOL

Good luck GordieLover on the move - looking forward to having you back.

4 days worth of coughing and generall crappiness...I guess I'm a bit worn out.

The Very Secret Diary of Legolas Son of Weenus - by Cassandra Claire

Day One: Went to Council of Elrond. Was prettiest person there. Agreed to follow some tiny little man to Mordor to throw ring into volcano. Very important mission - gold ring so tacky.

Day Six: Far too dark in Mines of Moria to brush hair properly. Am very afraid I am developing a tangle.

Orcs so silly.

Still the prettiest.

Day 35: Boromir dead. Very messy death, most unnecessary. Did get kissed by Aragorn as he expired. Does a guy have to get shot full of arrows around here to get any action? Boromir definitely not prettier than me. Cannot understand it. Am feeling a pout coming on.

Frodo off to Mordor with Sam. Tiny little men caring about each other, rather cute really.

Am quite sure Gimli fancies me. So unfair. He is waist height, so can see advantages there, but chunky braids and big helmet most off-putting. Foresee dark times ahead, very dark times.

I...um...hope this won't affect my standing on the list...

(get well soon hon!) :)

given that it's pretty likely to be side effects from my vaccinations, no, it's not going to affect your standing on the list ;)

in other words, you're still due in April ;)

medical went fine... though feeling ####### didn't help; first blood pressure test in AGES that wasn't perfect :(

now I am at home, resting up in my bed; I went via work but they said they didn't want me and I should be at home, resting up in my bed, so here I yam ;)
