I sent mine on July 27th, it was delivered on the 28th according to USPS online tracking, yet the hardcopy return receipt was stampted the 30th.

I still have not yet gotten my NOA1 nor have I had my check clear. Depending on when you believe they truely received it, 28th or 30th, it has been 2 weeks since either today (Sat) or will be 2 weeks Monday that they have had my submission.

Janaus, I'm confused as to your dates on the spreadsheet. Please confirm. Says yours was received on the 27th? yet your priority date is the 18th?

So I am curious, what is the general consensus on if the noa1-noa2 time lines; I notice that mine went up one day; it's only 1 day but still, I guess I am worried about the consolidation. When I put everything I have read here together, I think it's going to be February before my Inna is here in Florida with me (wow, just saying that makes me smile, I am so anxious). That's not the end of the world and I am okay with that, but still, I am concerned.

I thought I read somewhere on here, someone said realistically there should be no delays because of the consolidation, yet when I go to the USCIS site, the CSC is currently working on JANUARY 13th noa2's, that a long way from July 30th, you know?

what do you think?

Yeah, it seems we're all going backwards with the timeline updates. I've already lost nearly a month since I filed. So its like I haven't made a bit of progress. Oh well. We just wait. At least you have a healthy attitude about it. It will take you far. Moscow's embassy seems to run pretty smoothly, so the long wait will be the one you're in now. Stay positive and try not to lose your head. The distance is killing all of us, and not knowing an exact date drives us all wild. Patience. I've seen a couple of VJ members that run from thread to thread screaming and yelling like little girls and haven't even waited 3 months yet. We have all made investments with our hearts in our significant others. Someone is depending on each of us to stay strong and focused. Good luck to you. God speed.

@ gonlaz:

firstly, I REALLY wouldn't pay too much attention to the official stats; they may say they're working on January, but we KNOW they're looking at later petitions than that, because people who filed later have been approved, and come in here and told us! I think those stats are to cover their butts a bit, and give themselves longer than even THEY think they need, to come in 'under time'

secondly, remember that if even these delays, which have been a couple of weeks at most, are affecting our timelines, then a change in the other direction will as well... by which I mean: the estimated adjudication dates reflect CURRENT movements, but a couple of good weeks (or, heaven forfend, a few more bad ones) could change those estimates considerably... I'm not saying they're not useful; they are; incredibly... I just mean they're reasonably sensitive, and could change quite radically before the end of the process

thirdly, I think it's too difficult to predict when the non-USC will be arriving, simply because even though people who filed at similar times are likely to have similar NOA1 - NOA2 timeframes, so much will then depend on the consulate we're all going through... for example, I've heard Montreal is one of the worst right now, something like a six month wait, I think? but I'm going through London, which looks to be around three months... so even if we all got NOA2 within the same week, our interviews could be scheduled months apart...

all the above is just my opinion, of course, but I HAVE tried to base it on something :);)

The Very Secret Diary of Legolas Son of Weenus - by Cassandra Claire

Day One: Went to Council of Elrond. Was prettiest person there. Agreed to follow some tiny little man to Mordor to throw ring into volcano. Very important mission - gold ring so tacky.

Day Six: Far too dark in Mines of Moria to brush hair properly. Am very afraid I am developing a tangle.

Orcs so silly.

Still the prettiest.

Day 35: Boromir dead. Very messy death, most unnecessary. Did get kissed by Aragorn as he expired. Does a guy have to get shot full of arrows around here to get any action? Boromir definitely not prettier than me. Cannot understand it. Am feeling a pout coming on.

Frodo off to Mordor with Sam. Tiny little men caring about each other, rather cute really.

Am quite sure Gimli fancies me. So unfair. He is waist height, so can see advantages there, but chunky braids and big helmet most off-putting. Foresee dark times ahead, very dark times.

I too believe that Charry's petition will not be approved until sometime around February or later. Our plan was to get married on Dec 22 of this year but looks like plans can change. We decided that if she gets approval in March then she will not be coming immediately. I will go to PH for a week in June durring fiesta so I can see her family again before we get married and we can participate in the town fiesta.

Since her Aunt, who lives here in the states, found out about that, I might be chaperoning her cousin on the trip too so that he can give a promise ring to his girlfriend Charmain who is in the PH too. he'll be 18 and she will be 17 so they have a year more before they can get married or start the process.

Course if she gets approval in Dec and can get here before the 22nd our original plans will go through. I know the visa's use can be delayed for 120 days but June is way out there without an extension.

I mixed up your information with that of the person you quoted. My bad.

STILL waiting on my check or NOA1.. And I'm gonna be on a business trip Mon - Wed so I wont be able to check my mail.

Anyone know what there is to do in Bowling Green, KY this time of year? I'm headed to Western Kentucky University to do a product installation.

What you write makes good sense, it's basically a "whack-a-mole" nobody knows for sure, that's okay - I am betting on February, and that's okay, gives me a little more time to prepare.

my understanding is the january 13th date just means that's the oldest NOA2 they are working on.probably someone with a RFE that is still being processed. they are also working on others with newer dates.
