oh, I just HAD to share this with you guys... I'm listening to music on my computer while I'm sorting out some photos, and it's on random, and an old Beach Boys song came on... I started singing along, and then I started laughing, and almost crying; bar one or two words, it is just the THEME song of VJ... here are the lyrics; probably loads of you know it:

Very fitting for our situation! It's funny- i'd always thought of that song having to do with two teenagers who are in love and can't be together all the time, cuz they're still just kids.... Kinda makes this whole situation feel like the US government is our parents, and we're just the children...

I got my NOA1 on August 2nd:) im excited!

does that mean I'm an August filer...or do I still get to hang out with you guys???

I'm not too sure... it would either go from the date the I129-F was received by the service center (as this is the first date entered into your timeline) which I believe would make you a July filer, or it would go from the issue date of your NOA1... I would be inclined to believe it was the former but does anyone else have some more concrete opinions?!

Well I am still around if anyone fancies joining me in the chatroom - I am sat there all on my own while faffing around with other internet stuff - am going to have to stay up until Jeremy's flight leaves anyway or I won't rest Wondering if I can go pinch a bottle of wine off of mum - living at home does have some benefits ;D

Yay! finally some action...they've touched our check! But the bank teller on the phone couldn't be bothered to read me all the numbers on the back of the check...so will have to wait til it comes online...atleast we're making progress.

haha...Hell no it didn't take me a week to tell you!

I posted that 10 seconds after I got off the phone with USCIS (the first 10 seconds involved me jumping around my office cheering).

I still don't have the hard copy of the NOA1...they just gave me my receipt number over the phone (i found a way to trick them) and told me my NOA1 date.

Believe me...ANY activity on my K1 will be posted here the second I know:)

Yay!!! After non-stop checking of my bank accounts, I finally see a change!!! The USCIS cashed my check today, and after harrassing the poor bank teller (fortunately i work in the same building where my bank is located), she printed me off a copy of the back of my check. I found my reciept number, and found my case online. The NOA1 was issued on 8/08/07! woo hoo!

Congratulations Courtney! welcome aboard. I noticed that there have been a few approvals coming out of Vermont. thank God. but I also noticed that my projected date of approval from my timeline has dropped another 6 days in the last 24 hours....#######? When i filed last month my date was Oct.9th, now its Halloween. Moving nowhere...how sad
