Hey Everybody,

So pardon my ignorance but what is a NOA2? We have recieved our NOA and also the letter stating that the 797approval was forwarded to Naples. Now we are waiting for the packet and interview. We are really sad, tomorrow morning I leave Italy to go back to LA because school starts next week. Although I am thankful to have had 3 weeks together, the thought of being seperated again is almost too much to take. I know ya'll understand. Anyways we finally got through to someone with a pulse when calling the consulate in Naples and even though he was just the operator he gave us some disheartening news. The Visa office there only operates on Tuesdays and Wednesdays between 2 and 4 in the afternoon!! To me it sounds incredibly ridiculous.

Hey - your NOA2 is the piece of paper you get to say you have had your I-129f approved You've already had yours so you are onto the next stage

As for the office times - that might be when you can speak to someone about it - I know other countries where that is the case. YOu might find more info in the regional forums though - other people from Italy might be able to give you better advice

Jeraly, I know what you mean about nerves. I think I'm more nervous about not knowing just when we can get married. I think we are going to just get married at the courthouse in a civil service so we can get the technical things sorted out. I'm so afraid of messing things up.

Our plans are to marry in a chapel in Golden Colorado in the foothills of the Rocky Mountains, then we'll have pictures taken at Red Rocks amphitheatre. We haven't set a date yet because of all the uncertainty. But since it's not the first wedding we aren't having the big party with lots of people....just my children with us. That's the flexible part at least.

I'm just a mess at the moment - my skin is awful, my hair is awful... I just want to get it over with really - sounds terrible but that is just how I feel! I don't think I will truly relax until I am stood in front of our minister and have finished saying my bit/exchanging rings!!!

I soooo know what you mean. I'm in the process of getting ready to move...so that's stressing me out too. I'm worried about how that will affect this process at this stage if at all. I've made myself ill..I've got a bad cold and it's turning into a sinus infection. When that happens it shows in my face...dark circles under my eyes and I look like death on toast.

I think we should all remain calm (HA!) and get some rest (double HA!). I think the weight loss thing actually made my immune system a bit vulnerable. I'm gonna go get some orange juice and blueberry pancakes ( I need some antioxidants).

I'll get something together a little later for the paragraph thingie. I'm off work today (bank holiday here today yay!) so I'll be purging ####### for the move. How did I collect so much stuff???? That's the good thing about moving....purging the un-needed stuff.

stress stress stress stress...I know what the 2 of you mean. I just want the 5th of Feb over with so I know where I stand. Nick and his mammy finally sending all the paperwork I'm waiting for tomorrow and it's coming by UPS overnight secure service. I'm still thoroughly convinced we gonna be declined as nick not working and I've never met the co-sponsor even though I have over £9K to take myself and my co-sponsor is totally solid.

I just got back from Canada last night (visiting my fiance). We had lots of fun just watching movies, going out to eat & such. Really needed that time alone together...it had been way too long. Now I have no idea when I'll get to see him again. This just sucks so bad. No clue when that NOA2 will come so I'm not sure if I should plan another visit in March or if things will happen suddenly and maybe possibly we'd be going for his interview in April or something. That would be a dream come true!! The problem is I only have 9 vacation days left until July so I have to spread that out. I'm thinking also that when we go for the interview I'll need all that time. It's a long trip and we'll be waiting for his visa in the mail. But if it's not until summer I will freakin go insane not being able to see him for that long. Why do they have to do this to people!!!

Sorry, just had to vent a little.

@CBR: i keep my fingers crossed. it's really unfair.

@ all: how much is the visa fee at the moment? maybe somebody from a € country can help me out a little.... i got a piece of paper from the embassy stating, that it was €80, but the webpage of roskosmeier (they refer them as being the prefered payment-company-thingy besides direct deposit) states €94.32.

LMAO - that is the best excuse I have ever heard to eat blueberry pancakes!!

On another note... I GOT PACKET 3 ALREADY!!! I was *so* not expecting that!! Stupid thing is that at a push I *could* make my wedding date... don't think I could cope with the upheaval after setting sights on moving in June though - just very annoying that I have something I could send back but... am not sending it back right away!! I just can't believe it - London doesn't hang around!

It's possible... the date is the 11th Feb - ok - I have three weeks so it is a slim chance *but* it is possible... I don't want to chance it now - I couldn't uproot in three weeks so I'll wait until I get back to send off packet 3 and go through the whole interview/med thing when I get back

a questions for the girls here: does ist sound crazy to you to get married at the courthouse /justice of the peace without a big white dress, but WITH a veil? i at once really want that, and my parents were looking at me like : now it's offical, our daughter went crazy.

Hey Peter went to the dr. today...he's getting his shots Thursday...he's out of the doghouse. yay!

probably some sort of skirt with flowers and a black shirt or something alike. i feel completely lost about what to wear.
