ya, there is no update at all. It seems that CSC does not update online system.

but good thing chris4gretchen, you got NOA2 in the mail. for our case, we don't have any proof of our NOA2, no hint about its approval date. Just the letter from NVC with our case number.

I was told I need the NOA2 copy for AOS so we had our lawyer called USCIS. Till now, no NOA2! But a relief to confirm that our case is now with the Consulate!

Hope everybody gets the approval following the rule of justice - first in first out!

Update! Interview Scheduled!

Hi all, We go the consulate letter yesterday. Dan has his interview Feb 8, 2008 but we may try and have it moved up, a month seems in some ways forever and other ways fast but we figure why wait he has everything he needs for the interview, might as well go for it.

I continue to hope and pray for all those waiting for approvals. I hope you get them soon. Chin up, it will go faster once you get the NOA2 I promise!

Hi all, We go the consulate letter yesterday. Dan has his interview Feb 8, 2008 but we may try and have it moved up, a month seems in some ways forever and other ways fast but we figure why wait he has everything he needs for the interview, might as well go for it.

I continue to hope and pray for all those waiting for approvals. I hope you get them soon. Chin up, it will go faster once you get the NOA2 I promise!

Yaya!! Gratzies!!!!! Sooo exciting there is an end to it all!!!

As for knowing why we couldn't sit quietly - well I know that without my VJ buds, esp my fellow July filers I think I would be going absolutely insane It helps to pass the time Although I know how hard it is to see people who filed after you get approved while you're still waiting

Anyway!!! I've decided!! As soon as Gillian moves on the 18th I am going to set up a new thread in the "Moving here and your New Life in America" forum for us July lot so we have a place to go to compare notes and catch up when our timelines might vastly differ at that point (even more than they do now!) I'll post the link here when I get it set up and add a link to my siggie or something as well

E. is still here (will be leaving tomorrow.... ) and i didn't have much time to update my timeline recently. but LOOK!!!!!!!

we got our interview date today!!!!! it is a little bit easier to let him leave knowing that i will be with him soon.

i keep my fingers crossed for everybody waiting for the NVC and their NOA2!!!!!

Yeah - you can defo join in - wouldn't be the same without you!!!

Itching to set up new thread now but want to wait until we have some justification for it!! We can talk weddings, AOS, life, everything there (kinda like we do here really!) but I don't want it to get lost under piles of everything else in the meantime!! There are those of us still at CSC!!

We have been approved today on 1/9/08.

Petition sent 7/20/07, received by VSC on 7/23/07...

168 days....? each day felt like a month to me......

No RFE, no touches....I knew my petition was perfect even before they even have looked at it.....

NO lawyer could make it better, because I did for me and my dear love.....

And so much waiting still ahead....

well our problem is we cant call CSC to see when we were sent to NVC since according to the website and what the customer reps look at, we arent approved yet. though i have the NOA2 in my hand. you would think CSC would update us on the site since its been almost 30 days since we got our NOA2 in the mail, much less approved.

That's ridiculous and must be really frustrating for you. It's that kind of thing that really winds me up about USCIS.
