our actual ceremony is only about 20...the rest are Nick's extended family we seem obligated to invite so they just coming to reception. Nick has huge family. He is eldest of 6 kids and his dad is 1 of 9 (all of which have own multi child families).

Its good to hear everyone's wedding plans!!! My parents want us to have a legal wedding here and then go to India to have the traditional ceremony which mean a few hundred will be invited. And I would personally prefer a small wedding with just close family and friends. Like the one you will have Deb :-)

Well we were aiming for about 30 but Jeremy's family have been... shall we say... less than helpful - as it is we are having to pay for his brother, sister, mother and aunt to come or he would have no family there at all... Our wedding planner is coming as a guest though as she organised pretty much the whole thing then lost her job when work dried up!!

Ohhhh and I wonder how Griff is getting on - I would say Julez must be so excited if she weren't asleep... saying that, maybe she *can't* sleep she is that excited

I hardly slept at all!!! Griff rang at 4:30 US time to tell me he'd been approved!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! First they collected his paperwork, where they remarked about how organized he was! Sat back down for 2 mins, then they called his name first. Said the guy asked him exactly 3 questions, as follows:

1. Where did you meet?
2. Do you remember when that was?
3. Why will you live in the US as opposed to the UK?

The guy said, "I see your medical is this aftertoon, so once we have those results your passport and visa will arrive a few days later. Have a good day."

Griff said he walked out euphoric, but slightly disappointed that they didn't want to see any of the evidence of our ongoing relationship!!!! Said the onlu person who got a look at any of our photos was the fight attendant from BA he waited in line with outside the embassy who was there to collect her visa!

OK, just wanted to give you guys the brief rundown, now I must finish getting ready for work!! Will be back once I arrive there!!!!! *so happy*

Really very happy, but starting to get really tired now since I hardly slept a wink last night!

I can imagine! I am going to be a mess before my interview *and* my medical. No matter how many times I tell people they will be fine, I just *know* am going to be a neurotic bag of nerves about it all!!! Kinda like I am already about next month but maybe a bit worse...

Next month is crazy - I've got so much better at taking things one day at a time so it's really just butterflies whenever I think of things at the moment. But I know that with a week to go... well - yeah - I fly out on the 7th Feb I am going to be a mess - I'll get by until the night before and then I will not be able to sleep for love nor money. I will get there exhausted!!! Plus I am getting on three planes!! And when I get there I have to make favour boxes and things as well - at the moment I am waiting on some sterling silver eyepins to make the jewellery for my bridesmaids which will keep me a little occupied - am looking forward to getting to grips on that

Oh - I forgot to check up on you... did you update your timeline ye?! Did you??? *peers at Julez suspiciously...*

Not that there is much to add - only a review Oh well - so much for my nag!!
