yep yep yep...i know how it goes...I hold my hands up...I'm a bit of a control freak. I hate things being out of my control, I hate things being out of place, I hate uncertainty.........so you can see how this visa stuff gonna really test the limits of my sanity! I'm one of lifes organisers and I'm a tidy freak, I hate mess! I'm also incredibly impatient!

My cat staying here. she too old and timid to travel. It would be much better for her here...she is going to live out her twighlight year in the scottish countryside with people she knows. Will miss her like mad but it's the kindest thing for her. She goes off food for a week after a 20min car ride plus she recently had to pull herself through an illness which left her really weak.

Aww I'm so sorry to hear that but at least you know she will be safe and happy Jeremy was originally planning on coming to live in the UK but then plans changed. I got Daisy in December because I wanted a cat so badly then about May our plans changed. I refuse point blank to leave her behind - she keeps me sane - I talk to her more than I talk to the rest of my family I swear!!!

And ditto on the impatient control freak thing - how did we ever end up in situations like this?!

The Nebraska Service Center has had my application for 13 days now....should I have already received my NOA1 u think? I know I'm acting like a crazy man already.

Isn't there a phone number I can call to get my WAC# since I paid by money order?

I've never been so anxious to be put on a waiting list in my life

just relax, it probably takes a little longer because they have to forward your petition to the CSC...no worries...trust me, it doesnt get easier once you get that number! =)

if you dont hear anything in another 7-10 days i would begin to worry

I don't know anywhere in Bristol that would do those photos - how did you find out? I was planning on getting Jeremy take a pic of me until we get one that looks good then print it out high quality on my laser printer on some photographic paper... it seems a bit silly to request US standard passport photos when UK standard are so different! It was a nightmare anyway as I originally sent the 3/4 photos!

I'm glad I'm not the only one who has sent them though - I just hope we don't get an RFE as we need to have our case moved forward as swiftly as possible to get the visa in time for the wedding... nightmare!

I had mine taken at CVS and had to cut them to size myself.. Hopfully they wont complain that they are slightly crooked.. I sent the straightest ones.

Her photos thou we had taken professionally in the Cebu when I visited.. They are the right size and straight, cut by the photo place. BUT, they are not glossy.. again hope it doesn't cause an issue.

we've sent our petition on the 12th of July and got our NOA1 on the 20th of July

we originally sent the petition at the Nebraska center and it has been forwarded to the California Center (my fincé is in Wisconsin)

just a thought...bszoom42 has a comprehensive list of all the vsc filers that are still waiting for NOA2s (im sure many of you have seen it)...someone should find out how he does this list...i am not extremely computer literate, so i would not be the appropriate candidate...i know that he derives this list automatically based on people's timelines...if we did this sort of list, then we wouldnt be limited to simply those who are active in the thread....just a thought

i mailed mine on july 3rd (one business day before you, because of the 4th of july), and my NOA1 was issued july 10th
