My Goodness!!!

My fiance received a letter from the NVC stating that they have our papers. The letter contains our petition approved and that they already gave us our manila case number and informing us that within a week, it will be forwarded to the USEM in Manila Philippines!

Wake me up if this is a dream!!!!! We never had our NOA2! No email nor any updates or change in the USCIS site....thats why I was so brokenhearted these past few weeks. We were so worried about receiving RFE. The delay drove us crazy.

But our papers are in the NVC! Woohoo!!!

How amazing!!! Must be a rare occurrence but it should at least give hope to those still waiting on their NOA2s!! Defo need a happy dance for you!! :dance: :dance:

NO NOA2 yet. I am getting so upset. I applied on July 27th and still many those end of July filers are waiting. It is soooooooooo crazy. My fiance called up USCIS and they said still pending. USCIS website says that now processing time for I-129F is 6 months. So, it gets a little better. Don't you think?

Why? Dont jump ahead and purchase the tix to come to the US just yet, you know, incase they say no... We hope they won't but....

I'm expecting Charry to have her interview in Feb too but I don't plan to have her come here until late March or later, maybe after the snow melts.. We are planning a June wedding so any earlier than March would put her outside the 90 days allowed in the US before marriage/having to return home.

Hey - your time will come - remember it's all been a little crazy over the holiday period so hopefully things will smooth out in the New Year *hugs*

As I've said countless times before - my whole family have had their flights booked and the wedding has been booked since April so really I can't just sit back and not even attempt to cross the pond. Countless people have done it while going through the K-1 process, even post NOA2 and I will make sure I have all relevant evidence/documentation/ties to home country that I can.

We've had this planned and it has caused us a lot of heartache (understandibly - we were so naive when we started this whole thing and made some faux pas it is true) but short of costing ourselves and my family thousands we really don't have many other options

Flights are on 7th Feb until 28th Feb and I am going through Dublin/Atlanta before I get to Ontario, CA I am excited now!!!

ooo alot happened yesterday. Couldn't get on for most of the day, my internet decided it wasn't playing then I was at a christmas/new year costume party all night dressed as a pirate.

Congrats on all the approvals (lady anne that must have been a really nice suprise) and Jeraly...how exciting, I can't wait until I can finally book my tickets then the end of the waiting really will be insight.

I'm still stressed to the point beyond stress regarding interview, just can't get it out of my head we will be declined due to finances. Nick finds out about the job he interviewed for on 8th or 9th but will have already sent forms by then. He's done the best he can considering he's only been back 3 weeks and it's been over festive period too. I'm just so worried.

Ohh it'll be fine!! And I want to see pics of the costume!!!

Surely if Nick gets the job then he can send any details he has to you - his contract of employment for example or something that shows his hourly wage/salary and you can take that as further evidence to the interview If you don't have time for him to post it then he can scan it and e-mail it

I'm a little nervous now about getting through immigration in Feb but I can't see why I would have any undue problems - I haven't visited since April and I have all the proper paperwork

Oh and I posted this in the general forum as there didn't seem to be many people hanging out here at the moment:

This is (apparently) what it says on our hard copy that my OH has just opened - does this mean we *must* be approved by this date? What if we aren't?! I haven't come across anyone else mentioning it before!!

Lol - my car was going to go some way towards giving us some more money but then it died so now I have a cr@ppy banger that smells of old men... Owel - it has a 12 month MOT and maybe if I get it valeted I can sell it for near what I bought it for - that would be a bonus

I got approve at Nov. 30th, and receipt NOA 2 at Dec. 3 2007 My petition has been sent to embassy at Dec. 26th
