Ok I am confused or worried.

I called the 202-663-1225 number. Seems this is the DOS number.

I got the email for NOA2 on Dec 23.

The number above said NVC got the case Dec 27. She seemed very hesitant about the case. She said it would be a long time before it goes to the embassy in India.

Makes me worry. I have heard of cases where NVC puts it into AP.

Anyone know the NVC number?

A few others have been told similar stories lately and the proved to be untrue. While AP at NVC can happen its typically rare. Some of those DOS people are extremely uninformed.

Try not to panic and call again in a few days.

Grr - stupid connecting flight seems to have been delayed as well and I can't rest until I know he is safely in the air again - saying to call airline *again* and I just want to go to bed!!!!

Hrmmm... seems fate has taken a hand in this - he left an hour and a half late but the tracker has just come up - took off from Philly ten minutes ago - think will look into that hot toddy situation and settle down to some monobrow-nurturing

My Goodness!!!

My fiance received a letter from the NVC stating that they have our papers. The letter contains our petition approved and that they already gave us our manila case number and informing us that within a week, it will be forwarded to the USEM in Manila Philippines!

Wake me up if this is a dream!!!!! We never had our NOA2! No email nor any updates or change in the USCIS site....thats why I was so brokenhearted these past few weeks. We were so worried about receiving RFE. The delay drove us crazy.

But our papers are in the NVC! Woohoo!!!
