I checked USCIS Online status this evening and no touches but was about to go to bed and checked USCIS one last time just for the heck of it and we have a "touch"!!!! I don't think I will be able to sleep tonight!! Please let it be an "approval touch"!!

Spent a better part of the 2 hr phone call to Daniel just whimpering and whining abt our case. He is a saint to have so much patience to just listen to me complain about everything in the world.

The BIG question still is - Where the heck is our case?

Getting varied answers like :

USCIS - Left on 11/27/2007, Has bn received at the Consulate on 12/12/2007

NVC - Haven't received the case yet, coz its not on their "SYSTEM"

USCIS - Re 'Case received at the Consulate on 12/12/2007' (as per sm officer)

Consulate - No info yet on their "SYSTEM"

What's going on??

Need to Focus -

Actually wanted to CONGRATULATE everybody who's

1. Received their NOA2

2. Received their Case Number from NVC

3. Case has been sent to the Consulate

4. Got their Packet 3

5. Got their Packet 4

6. Got their Interview Date

Aly, sorr about the bad advice. Didn't know how bad the CSC is with sending to the NVC.

No worries! I knew CSC was pretty lame with it all... need to check and see if anyone else with a UK beneficiary has a similar NOA2 date and filed at CSC - call me lazy but it means I can tag along with them while Jeremy is herre then I might not miss crucial thingies!!

I am *sure* it will be good news - they couldn't be so mean before Christmas!!!! I got two touches before my approval so maybe yours will be the same..? So much for things slowing down over the holiday season!!

Also - I found this in another thread:

I called my congressman on monday the 17th of DEC and i recvied a e mail to the 21st of DEC that

i was approved. I guess because they had to dig it out of the pile they just though to process while they had it in there hands. What ever the reason why im glad they did it took 128 day in vermont. GHood luck to everyone else on there journey.

I don't know if it inspires anyone else to call their congressman but this person was a mid-August filer... think it pi$$ed a few people off...

well it's friday night and that usually means zinfandel but as it's nearly christmas (it's yule tonight instead of tomorrow due to moonphases) I've decided to indulge! Slab of high quality belgian high cocoa chocolate and a bottle of champagne.

Well I bought the chocolate from the deli and one of the partners in work gave me the bottle of champagne (and yes it's real champagne, not just fizzy wine)

hey.....It's the festive season and I'm now off until 27th. (even then I'm only in 27th, 28th and 31st, then off 1st and 2nd)

the following week only a 4 day-er as well as medical on the friday!

YEY no full working weeks until week commencing 14th jan

You should call DOS 202-663-1225, then 1, then 0, a VS can give you better info.
