Lol!! Not keen on blue cheese - more a fan of a decent strong farmhouse cheddar, brie/camembert and actually like port if having it with cheese.... mmmmm... I am going to be soo easy to buy presents for when I move out!!!

Not sure what is worse - a tornado or earthquake!! Suppose tornadoes wreak more destruction more frequently than earthquakes but socal is due a biggie soon :/

I like roqufort mmmmm but I love baked camembert, thats my fave. If it's just every day cheese then I agree a nice strong farmhouse cheedar! mmmmm cheese!

Never tried with oatcakes (although they go well with a nice crumbly cheshire cheese ) and I normally have it with cranberry jelly but mmmm - now I am hungry!!!

Woot Congrats Claudia!!! So happy for you! So question, does my fiance have to wait for his packet of instructions to come to schedule the medical, or is that something he can do now and if so does it have to be a certain doctor, or is it anyone and is there a form we can take a look at ahead of time. He lives in Wellington New Zealand. Any help is much apprecitate waiting for the packet is well.... you know how it is.

You don't want to know what I have been eating - I blame the stress - I am the most horrendous comfort eater - it is disgusting but I can't seem to help myself... Ok guys - I need a foolproof New Years Plan to really shift my excess baggage Any ideas?! I really want to feel motivated - I thought my wedding would do it but it hasn't for some reason - prolly cause things are still so all over the place...

I need a way to motivate myself, feel happy with what I am doing, cut out my food addiction, snacking and drinking and find ways to stop myself from associating food with comfort... not much to ask?!

I'm making a point as either fri or sat zinfandel (or alt.) is only drinkies. If I don't have the food in the house I can't eat it!

missingmykiwi - I think you can schedule your medical whenever but the medical has to take place after packet 3 arrives (is this right?) The medical location will be outlined I believe in packet 3 but you can prolly find it here somewhere - this is all as far as I know so correct me if I am wrong - I don't even have my NOA2 yet!

I was doing the comfort food thing too, until last week one day before I found out about NOA2 something clicked mentally and I went on full on diet/ change of lifestyle. And than the NOA2 came so it was that extra something I needed to stick to it. I keep healthy snacks in, healthy everything and if I get hungry I have something. That is key. Its is working though 3 lbs in 7 days, the rest will go slower proably 1.5lbs a week i would think.

Chin up, be postive, think about how much better you will feel when you chose to watch the foods etc... since we have no control over USCIS, but we can take control over this. WE CAN DO IT!!!!

Like osmosis I am really surprised too - generally I pick things up when I do them so actually picking anything up about post NOA2 is amazing!!!

I really hope so - all this waiting is getting tedious!!! You want to be my diet buddy?! I find having someone to encourage you etc is really helpful and comparing notes etc can help too! I'm prolly not going to manage much over the next couple weeks as Jeremy will be here and we have Christmas etc but I really need to sort something out as I am too scared to weigh myself as I know I have put on weight!! That is a really bad sign
