Tax returns question...

Hi All!

I am just wondering - I keep reading people talk about having 3 years tax returns for the interview, but on the I-134 it mentions nothing about these unless you are self-employed. Are these just a back-up that is sometimes requested? If so, why would this not be listed on the I-134 directions?

Tax returns question...

Hi All!

While there are no specific income requirements listed in the I-134 form directions, you will be judged by the

same criteria as the I-864 form requirements when they are issueing the visa at the foreign US consulate, so

provide financial information for the I-134 with those guidelines in mind.

6/21/07 - I-129F Sent : transferred to CSC at some point...

7/12/07 - Received date as shown on NOA1 Hardcopy

7/18/07 - NOA1

7/21/07 - Check FINALLY Cashed!!!

7/24/07 - Finally got receipt number off the back of cancelled check!

11/23/07 - Our first ever touch!

11/27/07 - Touched on website

11/28/07 - NOA2!!!!!!!!

I-129f was approved in 160 days from your filing date.

12/21/07 - Received at NVC and assigned case number!

12/27/07 - Case forwarded to USEM

01/04/07 - Case received by USEM

02/25/08 - Scheduled St. Luke's Medical Appointment 7:00 AM

03/03/08 - Interview at USEM APPROVED

tax return thing depends on embassy....some not bother about seeing any....some like 1 year if employed and 3 years if self employed.....some like 3 years in both cases.

Nick has never filed as never been required to. My co-sponsor giving me 3years just to be safe.

I am going to call the USCIS again today. Yesterday was 15 days with no RFE letter. Are they on California time? I hope they can give me some information - I'm dying here!!! :crying:
