Well I sent mine in june 30th, they recieved it july 10th(sent to nebraska which was forwarded to california) and processed on july 11th. Does anyone think its possible for my fiance to have her visa by this year?(from germany) Good luck to you all

I don't know about this year. We've been looking at others' timelines and it looks like we might expect an interview for my SO by January or Feb. The good news is that Frankfurt seems to be both speedy and very nice.

yes, been three times before - summer 1993, winter 1996 (drove down from the mountains in the north, where I'd been skiing with German friends, on New Year's Day ) and autumn 2000... so while I know it reasonably well, I'm betting it's changed a bit... I LOVE it there; the architecture, the different old towns on each side of the river, the Charles Bridge, the little shops, the restaurants, just the atmosphere... we're avoiding the weekend, and it's the first week after school goes back, so we hope to avoid the crowds, and we hope to spend at least one day outside of the city - perhaps on a day trip to somewhere like Cesky Krumlov (last time I was there was 1992, so THAT will have changed markedly, I'd imagine...)

my fiancé's never been further east than Lille (in France), so it will be something very new for him... we're both REALLY looking forward to it

I have to change my previous answer. I am so confused by all this and also am terribly nervous, heh.

What I received is a "Notice Of Action" but the "Notice Type" is "Receipt Notice"

It's an official notice type, an I-797C...Could you tell me if this is the NOA1?
