Fellow july filers still waiting for NOA2. I'm praying for you all to get approved real quick.

I've just booked my trip to London for medical.....woooooo it's expensive from Glasgow!

So wait... you have to go to another country for your medical? Interview too? That's insane!!

Ah, but Scotland is part of the United Kingdom! As are England, Wales and Northern Ireland.

With that said, I still think Scots should be able to be processed through the US Embassy in Edinburgh.

me too. I agree with that one. Would definatly make my life easier. It's so expensive to travel down there. I think UK should be same as EU. The German fiance(e)s don't have to travel to brussels for an interview.

We have a US consulate in Edinburgh but they don't do any visas.

It's gonna cost me about $650AUD to fly over to Sydney for my interview. And I live across the otherside of the country.

I called the NVC (the DOS office was closed, and I couldn't stay up any longer waiting for it to open) last night, and had a very frustrating experience.

Got through pretty quickly, as I called a few minutes after they opened, and got the rudest phone operator I've ever had to deal with.

I gave her our receipt number (she said 'case number' so I presumed she meant receipt number) and she had me repeat it three times (and she didn't repeat it back to me). Now, I know that the Australian accent can sound a little thick to foreigners, but I spoke sloooowly and clearly, and I got the impression that she still couldn't understand me. There were a few moments of silence when she asked:

"What's this for?". That confused me greatly since I'm very sure I chose the correct prompt.

"Uhh, I'm just checking to see if the NVC received my approved I-129F petition?"

(speaking too fast for me to hear clearly): "It's not here yet."

"Oh... Not yet?"

"It's NOT HERE yet." *click*

Now, I know that it must suck having to answer phones all day from stressed out people, but there is NO excuse to act like a raging b*tch and hanging up without so much as a 'thank you' or 'Have a nice day'. I also thought it was odd that she didn't ask what NOA I had, the beneficiary's (and petitioner's) name, date of birth, or anything else. I'm starting to wonder if she put in the wrong number. I've done that myself a few times in the past when logging into the USCIS site. I'm gonna have to ring them back tonight to double check. I hope I get someone else because I know I'll be probably be very rude back this time. Which is NOT a good thing at this stage...

Has anyone else had a bad experience like me?

Well i got my first touch yesterday and a few minutes ago i got one again, but it´s not the approval yet cause status is still pending...I hope so much that it will change today
