Thanks! I'm actually pretty surprised that people seem to like RFE Cat so much. I guess it's because he's so cuddly! :)

hello. may I know the number of the USCIS? I tried to dial the numbers their posted on their website and it says that its not in use. (ehem)

i called 1-800-375-5283 then 1,2,2,4,2,1 the put in your WAC number including the WAC as numbers, then 1,1,1 until you get a operator. i coated my conversation with sugar and seem to have gotten reliable info.

hi Everyone,

I made it over to this area. Just a not to let you know I got an email notice saying the petition was approved on Dec 10th, so just waiting for the hard copy in the mail!!! whooohooo!!! They had gotten it July 24th.

So what do I expect next. I keep seeing people with medical dates. Should my fiance book that now, or do they tell him where to go and when to go. He lives in New Zealand.

Do you think if things go smooth we could pull off a Fall wedding? Like Sept? I kinda want him here at least 2 months prior so he can help a bit and so I won't be worrried about a deposit. I am getting nervous that all the places will be gone. There are so few that will accomodate a small wedding of 40-50 people.

Anyhow back to Visa questions, what can I expect in this next packet, I should think it would arrive tomorrow in the mail.

Did others get a letter from their employer about their salary, how long they have worked there etc... was it a quick turn around time? What should he do about tax returns, New Zealand government does the tax returns for them there so he is worried about being able to have those.

Christine

Congratulations Christine. :)

Here is what you must do next.

Step 1. Create a VJ timeline and fill in the appropriate dates. You can do that here by looking for Timeline Functions, then Edit / Add My Entry.

Step 2. Read the VJ guides. Go to this page then look at the bottom for instructions as to what to do after the I-129F is approved.

Step 3. Look for a fourm dedicated to the New Zealand Embassy. If you can't find one, search for New Zealand at the top of almost any VJ page and read everything you can find.

Good luck!
