well that was a lie. They gave me my NVC number when I gave them my WAC number.

Deffo a lie! I told them I wanted my LND# and they produced it as soon as I recited my EAC #! Call again and get someone helpful!

Lol - yeah - I think it is something we will all get used to eventually..

I think I will miss the feeling of being poor after a night out but realising actually I have tons of cash - it's just all in coins because I got so drunk I couldn't figure out the right money and just handed the notes over!! :lol:

been there....done that!!!!! BoS don't produce £1 notes anymore but they are still floating around.

07/09/2007 - NOA1 (hard copy 07/11/2007)

11/13/2007 - NOA2...127days after filing (hard copy 11/17/07)

12/22/2007 - packet 3 rec. (12/28/2007 returned)

01/11/2008 - medical (allergic to tetanus shot, requirement waived)

02/05/2008 - interview @ 10am - APPROVED!!!!!!

03/12/2008 - Flying Glasgow - Dublin - Chicago - Omaha

05/31/2008 - WEDDING

AOS

07/31/2008 - AOS and EAD finally mailed

08/02/2008 - Delivered

08/08/2008 - Check cleared

08/11/2008 - NOA1's for AOS and EAD recieved (reciept date 08/07/2008)

08/16/2008 - Biometrics letter recieved

09/09/2008 - Biometrics at 1pm, Omaha

09/26/2008 - AOS transferred to CSC

09/29/2008 - AOS touched (took out envelope at CSC and put in new pile)

10/03/2008 - AOS touched (probably that RFE coming soon!!!!)

10/06/2008 - AOS touched AGAIN!!! (surely it's an RFE)

10/15/2008 - EAD CARD PRODUCTION ORDERED!!!!YEY!!!

10/27/2008 - EAD IN HAND

01/12/2009 - AOS touched

01/26/2009 - Email from CRIS. GREENCARD PRODUCTION ORDERED..YIPPPPEEE

10/25/2010 - ROC mailed

We got a TOUCH! I just checked and we got a TOUCH! Pleaseeeee I want it to be a good sign! Though tomorrow is the 13th and I`m quite superstitious! I`d really need some good news!

Gratzies!!! I am sure soon you will be superstitiously loving the number 13 - it will be your new lucky number!! :lol:

Everytime someone gets a touch I keep checking to see if their good luck has rubbed off on me... doesn't appear to be the case this time... Oh well - guess I'll keep trying...

Ahh! i don't know how you can do that to yourself!! Step away from the refresh button! Didn't anyone ever tell you a watched pot never boils!? :)

I've done the same- checked already about 10 times today (once at 2am when i let the dog out- in a drowsy stupor and i don't even remember looking at the date).... I have this feeling that as soon as you stop looking, it will happen! :yes:

07/27/07-VSC receives our I-129F- signed for by A. SCOT

8/10/07-check cashed

12/17/2007-NVC receives our case

12/19/07-petition leaves NVC

12/28/07-petition is received by Embassy

01/07/08-he receives Packet 3!

01/11/08-sends in Packet 3 w/out checklist...waiting on police cert :-(

01/15/08- Medical Appointment

01/17/08- receive police certificate

01/18/08-send in checklist!

01/30/08- he receives Packet 4!

02/20/08- 10am INTERVIEW DATE!- APPROVED!!!

03/06/2008- he leaves England to be with me

04/19/08-OurWedding!

06/02/08-pkg signed for by J Mac

Jeraly, just wanted to say that I think of you often as I move through this horrible process and admire your positive attitude and your ability to continue to be supportive as you watch others move ahead. I check this forum in the morning thinking, I hope I see Jeraly dancing today! just know that your presence here is valued and that as people move on some of us will lurk together all the way through AOS! Your time IS coming - continue to be strong and know that if you feel the need to snap a bit here and there, that's okay too! you deserve it :yes:;)

Thank you and I`m sure your touches are on their way :) . Though now it`s really strange. I`d love to be very, very happy but I`m constantly thinking that a TOUCH is not exactly APPROVED. I wish they would have just simply approved us without any touches. I don`t know if you believe me or not but now I`m even more stressed out than before. This entire process I think was created just to mess up our nerves!

in all seriousness, you very well might - if I hadn't checked precisely when I did I would have missed our touch completely, and just seen it go straight to 'approved'; it was only in 'transit' for about eight hours, seven and a half of which I was asleep for ;)

I suspect that happens quite a lot, and that many of these people who say 'we never received a touch' just didn't happen to see it ;)

not that I think touches matter, mind you; I'm just thinking aloud :)

The Very Secret Diary of Legolas Son of Weenus - by Cassandra Claire

Day One: Went to Council of Elrond. Was prettiest person there. Agreed to follow some tiny little man to Mordor to throw ring into volcano. Very important mission - gold ring so tacky.

Day Six: Far too dark in Mines of Moria to brush hair properly. Am very afraid I am developing a tangle.

Orcs so silly.

Still the prettiest.

Day 35: Boromir dead. Very messy death, most unnecessary. Did get kissed by Aragorn as he expired. Does a guy have to get shot full of arrows around here to get any action? Boromir definitely not prettier than me. Cannot understand it. Am feeling a pout coming on.

Frodo off to Mordor with Sam. Tiny little men caring about each other, rather cute really.

Am quite sure Gimli fancies me. So unfair. He is waist height, so can see advantages there, but chunky braids and big helmet most off-putting. Foresee dark times ahead, very dark times.

Yeah well like Danca I would prolly go nuts if I got a touch as well but it just doesn't seem to want to happen... I mean I'm not fussy - I'd settle for an approval with no touch as well but... ;)

Come on! You`ve been I think the most optimistic person on this forum! I`m sure it`s only a couple of days till your approval! Don`t give up on the refresh button :) . One of these days it`ll make you a nice surprise!
