My fiance also tried to call, but he had to wait for a long time, so he gave up. I was told by a lawyer that it is not good to call. They are so stressed out by crazy amount of applications.

We sent out package on July 27th. Many folks did the same. So I have to wait another 2weeks probably. Ahh Crazy.

I say call, its not costing you anything to follow up with your case to USCIS or NVC. This is why I hate having to hire a lawyer to tell me what I shouldnt do...

Agreed. And it's not the customer service people who are working on petitions anyway. The people working on petitions rarely have to answer a phone call, which your lawyer should have known. Don't hesitate to call them, although be reasonable in your approach also. They won't hold your petition up because you call "too much."

Hey Guys, have been lurking every few days but haven't posted for a while as I have been feeling really down. I was on cloud 9 to get NOA2 but its STILL NOT at NVC. I finally got ahold of CSC last week with the help of a fellow VJ'er from another thread only to be told it was still sitting in their mail room staging area and they had no idea when it would leave. this is 4 weeks from approval and I feel like our wedding date is slipping away. I am feeling so frustrated, angry, fed up with waiting and no one having any answers I just needed to rant and get some support for a minute. Every time you call these people its a different story, different time line, etc. so maddening I know I should be grateful to be on this side but you hear about these horror stories of files getting lost or taking months to get to NVC and I am terrified. anybody think its still in a normal time frame and I am freaking out for no reason?? I am 2 days behind Debz approval so why not sent to NVC in same bunch???? Don't get me wrong really happy for Debs....just miserable in the wait. help.......

NOVC ALREADY GOT MY CASE!!

Ok guys, for your information and in order you call to find out as well: my NOA2 is dated november 19,2007, Marc received the hard copy on November 24,2007 and the NVC received the case yesterday December 10,2007!!!, I hope you get good news as well, please dont desmay!!!

well after yesterdays hysteria after being told in AP by wee woman reading scripts at NVC then been told by nice human person at DOS it wasn't I finally got confirmation today that my file was mailed yesterday to london......HORRAY!!!

I have also booked my medical. 10.30am on Friday 11th Jan at bentick mansions.

So still miserable about being alone but happier that things going in right direction....as long as they keep moving that way at this current pace I should make it by mid march as hoped!!!!

Griff booked his medical today too! Its at 14.30pm on Mon. 7 Jan. We are still hoping he has a shout at getting an early Feb interview. My son really wants him here for his 10th birthday, which is 21 Feb. so we are shotting for a 16 Feb. wedding date. Fingers crossed!

Try to call the DOS instead at 202-663-1225 Option 1, then option 0. I've had good luck with them.

I don't know they woman was very vague. Just said that the file was in administrative process and that no timescale could be given. I asked her what for and she said security checks and clearances. I asked if she could give me any guideline of timescale at all and she said well if all goes through smoothly with no glitches could be through in a week or 2 but if there are any glitches could take months.

Think I'm just going to call every couple of days.

Sorry to hear this. I wonder if they select petitions on a random basis to review.

You might want to call DOS and see what they have to say. 202-663-1225 x1, x0. They have access to the information at NVC.

called DOS......they said the woman didn't know what she was saying...it's getting transferred to london today.....the guy "james" told me the only administrative process it went through was looking at passport images and then passed to mailroom. I'm breathing better and the tears of sadness now tears of joy.

Just keep up with the follow up until your file gets to its destination. I 'm still waiting for NOA2, I just feel like the only july filer with no NOA2 as of yet with as many approvals I have seen on this site.

I was just to by the REP at CSC that I have RFE, he wont tell me what it is that they need but he said I would get it in the mail. I will get it for them and send it back ASAP once I get it in the mail. Tired of waiting. And bad weather here might cause the mail to get here like a snail. Will keep everyone informed.

More issues here, the lady I spoke with today told me something different, its not RFE, SHE SAID ITS NOTICE OF "INDENTED DENIAL", whatever that means. But due to increment weather here i haven't got the letter yet but keep everyone informed. Anyone had this before or know what the cause might be?

sorry to hear that. Please keep us informed about your situation. Hopefully it's something that can be resolved. Do you have a lawyer? Might be worth getting one if you don't.
