Day One: Went to Council of Elrond. Was prettiest person there. Agreed to follow some tiny little man to Mordor to throw ring into volcano. Very important mission - gold ring so tacky.

Day Six: Far too dark in Mines of Moria to brush hair properly. Am very afraid I am developing a tangle.

Orcs so silly.

Still the prettiest.

Day 35: Boromir dead. Very messy death, most unnecessary. Did get kissed by Aragorn as he expired. Does a guy have to get shot full of arrows around here to get any action? Boromir definitely not prettier than me. Cannot understand it. Am feeling a pout coming on.

Frodo off to Mordor with Sam. Tiny little men caring about each other, rather cute really.

Am quite sure Gimli fancies me. So unfair. He is waist height, so can see advantages there, but chunky braids and big helmet most off-putting. Foresee dark times ahead, very dark times.

Yeah - it really annoyed us...

Of course then we were looking at a 6-7 month approval time so were getting a bit worried we were cutting it fine... If only we knew :P

i have a few more hours yet but i am not hopeful on anything from them today. you know they always need monday to rest from the weekend. and tuesday to rest from the monday rest. and wednesday to organize what petitions they will look at, and thursday to acutally open one since their boss will by now be looking over their shoulder at coffee breeak and finally on friday a few more will get approvals, but probably not me...

Hey Guys, have been lurking every few days but haven't posted for a while as I have been feeling really down. I was on cloud 9 to get NOA2 but its STILL NOT at NVC. I finally got ahold of CSC last week with the help of a fellow VJ'er from another thread only to be told it was still sitting in their mail room staging area and they had no idea when it would leave. this is 4 weeks from approval and I feel like our wedding date is slipping away. I am feeling so frustrated, angry, fed up with waiting and no one having any answers I just needed to rant and get some support for a minute. Every time you call these people its a different story, different time line, etc. so maddening :angry: I know I should be grateful to be on this side but you hear about these horror stories of files getting lost or taking months to get to NVC and I am terrified. anybody think its still in a normal time frame and I am freaking out for no reason?? I am 2 days behind Debz approval so why not sent to NVC in same bunch???? Don't get me wrong really happy for Debs....just miserable in the wait. help....... :blink:

Don't worry it will be there anytime this week probably. be optimistic ok.... sill would be thankful you got your NOA2..... NVC notice is on the way now.....C H E E R U P ! ! !

08-Oct-08 ------ passed the road test... yeyyyy i can drive alone now... thank you Lord

No news on our case either, it shows a touch on Sat but that's about it. We have to keep waiting I guess. Has anyone else gotten any approvals today from CSC????

No CSC approvals dated today yet, but they normally update their database very late. I think it is around 11 PM east coast US time.

There were 5 CSC approvals with Friday's date (12-7) and 24 for last week.

My Timeline:

I will add my 5 cents :) We got approved on Dec 6 (according to the website) YAY! By the way, no email was sent to us even though we set up email notification. They received our case on July 31st and we got NOA1 issued on Aug 10, so 118 days since NOA2 – not bad at all :) We filed at VCS.

I got my interview date scheduled!! whoopiee!!! Medical exam on Feb 1, 2008 and Interview date on Feb 8, 2008. :dance: :dance: :dance: :dance: :dance: :dance:

Looks like Manila just entered all interviews from case numbers MNL2007818XXX to MNL2007833XXX

I finally tried a "RFE" call. It didn't go well as the call transfered to the national center. The guy was nice but he read me what I read on the screen that the case is pending since July 20th. A waste of 10 minutes but it was something to try at least.

Visa took too long, grew apart and withdrew visa after six months.
