Hey Guys, have been lurking every few days but haven't posted for a while as I have been feeling really down. I was on cloud 9 to get NOA2 but its STILL NOT at NVC. I finally got ahold of CSC last week with the help of a fellow VJ'er from another thread only to be told it was still sitting in their mail room staging area and they had no idea when it would leave. this is 4 weeks from approval and I feel like our wedding date is slipping away. I am feeling so frustrated, angry, fed up with waiting and no one having any answers I just needed to rant and get some support for a minute. Every time you call these people its a different story, different time line, etc. so maddening I know I should be grateful to be on this side but you hear about these horror stories of files getting lost or taking months to get to NVC and I am terrified. anybody think its still in a normal time frame and I am freaking out for no reason?? I am 2 days behind Debz approval so why not sent to NVC in same bunch???? Don't get me wrong really happy for Debs....just miserable in the wait. help.......

Hey - it'll pick up - I am sure they will send it soon - you can always try calling again - I know it sucks but it really is all you can do - you can express your concern at it taking so long when you know files have already been mailed to NVC

i remember that feeling...there was a CSC-NVC package went out 2 days after my NOA2 I kept thinking why wasn't mine included. I've just got off the phone with Nick again. He decided to suprise me with a call as his net is down just now.

I'm going to call NVC tomorrow again just to make sure file did leave today. I'm all paranoid now. I'm sorry I just don't believe a word any US official tells me!

this whole process has made me very cynical, untrusting and unsympathetic(they show us none) towards government agencies of any country.

Thanks Debz, you have been very helpful on this site. Can anyone guesstimate how long it might take after they receive my reponse to the RFE to approve my petition?

It's perfectly ok - I understand completely. I have definately done my share of whining these last 12 days. I think that we all have a reason to whine. Let's all just whine together! Sometimes it makes me feel better. Hang in there - **HUGS** **HUGS**!

I've been waiting since before you Debz!! I mailed my evidence to Jeremy on 20th June but USPS decided they were going to give it to a baboon who returned it to me stamped as "undeliverable as addressed". I then wrote out the address exactly the same, stuck it over the top and posted it again and it got there... of course that delayed our app by four weeks or so...
