Quick question, once my NOA-2 has been issued, how do I track my status at NVC? I went to their website and they have nothing about tracking the status of a visa. Also, I'm not too clear where to send the I-134, to my fiance, the embassy, NVC? I know how to fill out the form but I really don't know what to do after having my NOA-2 issued. If anyone can give me any tips or insight it would be greatly appreciated

The beneficiary takes the I-134 to the interview.

You cannot track the petition to NVC. You need to call them every couple of days to see if they have it. Their automated system does not work for K-1's so you need to talk to a human. VSC gets the package to NVC in a couple of days usually. CSC sometimes takes a lot longer.

There is a lot of information that you need to learn regarding the next steps. I suggest you read the guides and also try to find a forum that deals specifically with your embassy.

I just got in from Christmas shopping and having my engagement ring cleaned and inspected (has it been six months already?????). They put new rhodium on it and it looks brand new. I did that while I shopped and I had horrible separation anxiety about it! I was without it for four hours! It's nothing compared to being without Peter however....the whole limbless thing.

But hey! I watched an old favorite silly movie...Monty Python Holy Grail. Just think of the black knight...it's just a scratch!!! Tis only a flesh wound! We'll be put back together soon! All the while we hobble on with all the fight left in us! We can do it girls....BAH! to the MMR! Tis just a scratch! We're tuffies!

Just think...before the weather gets warm again, we'll all be together with the ones we love....for good!! Never to be separated like this again! And think too....we'll never take our love for granted ever. We have an advantage over those who have never known the pinings as we have.

Talk about separation anxiety.. I think I am going mental and putting Daniel through a hard time too. Guess its Christmas and the fact that we can't be together is just making me a very edgy person. Daniel is a sweetheart for listening and always being positive abt everything and trying to make me feel better. Hate this wait!!. We have gone through everything that one can go through already as a couple even before we are physically together. I Love my baby. This pain of separation has brought us closer and made us stronger (It has also made me a nervous wreck )

Shamin is.. She returned the ipod to me when we ended our relationship along with some victoria secret soaps and perfumes I had given her. Apparently having a gift returned to the giver is a disgrace to them. Even more so if it is a feminine product returned to a male. Or so I was told.

Worked out for me, I gave them to Charry before I left and she shared the wealth with her friends, she kept the ipod and shared the soaps and perfumes after asking my permission.

I also gave her the laptop I brought with me, which I was originally going to give to Shamin. Over here it was a low end laptop from HP. Over there, compaired to the other computers I saw, it was the most advanced machine there.

Okay...I just thought of something (after doing a slightly OCD compulsive check on USCIS)...if I don't get an email from CRIS (which I signed up for that service), is checking USCIS a moot point????? Should I just wait ever so patiently (yeah right!) for the email from Cris, or the hard copy in the snailmail? I'm tired of logging on and seeing that infernal date just sitting there. Okay..my feigned optimism from last night is lacking I know...but it's Monday and I've had no coffee!

a lot of us had a touch one day, and an approval the next, so logging in and checking might well give you advance warning that an NOA2 is on its way... I agree though; LOTS of stress for little outcome

Yea I feel the same way. I signed up for email alerts in September, but received the NOA1 in July so I bet if our case was touched before I signed up it wouldn't show eh? Then I have read some posts here saying that they got notices without having ever had their case touched so I feel like what's the point? I mean at this point I sure as heck hope that our case is doing SOMETHING without the site showing it.

Anybody else out there file mid July and NOT get their NOA2 yet? I'm feeling so skipped over!!

i'm going to chase up NVC and find out for sure if my file en route to london....finger crossed. If it is...going to get my LND# and booke medical for mid Jan....makes me feel like I'm getting somewhere.

if you count 'mid-July' as around the 10th to the 20th (let's count both those dates as there are 31 days in July), latest counts show:

113 NOA1s in that period, from all service centres

and

76 NOA2s for those filers, as of today

so what's that... around two-thirds done? I think they're working on that period right now, and it will be mostly cleared this week, or next

You would tower over me. I am barely 5' short. I am considered the runt of the litter because all of my sisters are much taller than me. My 6 year old even has bigger feet than I do - not hard to do when I wear a 2 1/2 in childrens. I am always made fun of because of my small feet and that I am so short. Imagine all of the nicknames there are for me? I've heard them all. Buying clothing is a nightmare too.
