And my date moved to Jan 4th again.

Jeremy flew from LA to London for his first flight as well so I am sure he felt much the same as your Gareth!!

Poor guys! It's a long flight. I have done it twice non-stop from San Francisco. In fact I do it again on Tuesday. I am excited, but I have not been to England in the Winter. I am a California girl and I fear I will freeze to death.

It's pretty windy but that's it although the wind is chilly Jeremy was fine when he came over and wore a short sleeved shirt the whole time (I think he is mad). It was fine until we went to London and walked along the Thames We had to go to Camden and buy him a sweater

I just wanted to say that I love our prolific July filers thread!

wow very nice to see all the approvals! I am happy for you all and I am noticing that my petition is getting passed by statistically. I think that may be because my brother just got accepted into a certain federal intelligence/security agency 2 weeks ago so our names probably got hit in the FBI database. They GRILLED him about my fiancee, asking all sorts of suspicious questions about her. They wanted all of her bio information so I told him they should just check with USCIS hehe. I gave him a copy of the g-325. I wish he would have waited another month but oh well.

I can't imagine walking around in a short sleeved shirt in the winter. Oh my goodness! Although my brother does that all year. It doesn't matter what the weather is....he is always wearing shorts and a short sleeved shirt. Only exception to this rule is when it is raining.....he wears shorts and a long sleeved shirt then. He's a nut.

well I'm just back from a night out. Currently munching me way thru a sar beni. Miss Nick bad but spoke to him on phone.

got forced to stay out later than planned as my potential lift home didnt tell me he was staying so late until after last train. If I'd known this was the case I probably would have driven myself.

The good news, GL, is that I had oral surgery yesterday. Why is that good news? Because in about 30 minutes the pain meds will kick in and I will no longer care that I don't have a touch or my NOA2. Nor will I care that I haven't talked to P all day.

I understand what you mean jundp.....if i'm busy or.....enebriated (sp?)....then I don't think about it nearly as much. I'm just sad I won't get to spend Christmas with Peter...or my children (their dad's turn). I want my family alllll together for the holidays. I won't sit and wallow about it though, I think I've pretty much decided about working at the kitchens downtown and serving the homeless to help fill the time (and get a good deed in for the year..lol). Maybe bringing a smile to someone else who is less fortunate will make me realize Idon't have it so bad!

Well, the status site is down for the weekend.

The Case Status Online, Processing Times, Office Locator, and Change of Address Online Systems will be experiencing a scheduled outage from 9:30 PM EST on Friday, December 7 to 8:00 AM EST on Monday, December 10 due to scheduled maintenance.

Here is hoping I get approved and wont find out until Monday.

wouldn't it be SO great if the site being down was a Christmas surprise, so they could approve EVERYONE and then reveal it with a grand flourish on Monday morning?

I know it sounds hollow, especially as I'm now sitting pretty with a recent NOA2, but I DO believe that right as you're feeling hopeless, that's when it will come... I've been pretty even-keeled about this whole thing for months, but then just the last couple of weeks it really started getting to me... I was withdrawn during the day, at work, and depressed and tired when talking to my fiancé at night... everything just felt hopeless, and like we would simply NEVER get there, and we'd just be stuck in this limbo-land forever

thankfully, my fiancé is very supportive, and just listened to me, and supported me, and encouraged me, and then yesterday came the email, and my whole outlook changed

you'll get there... and it will be SO WORTH IT :)

well finally got wedding dress sorted so happy on that front.

Missing Nick real bad but you all know how that feels. To top everything off I have a stiff neck thanks to MMR shot and my voice has gone so low I sound like a man!!! No sore throat just no voice (well a really low one).
