Thanks, I just did a search for Brazil and the average is 136days...that is today! But I don't think they categorize by country...any thought on this? Anyway I hope to have my noa2 any day now!!!

nothing I've heard indicates that country of origin has anything to do with anything, at this stage... it can impact on wait times for the interview, of course, but as far as I know not right now

as always, am happy to be corrected if someone knows better

geeez.....glad nick got away early this morning (well obviously I'd prefer he didn't have to go at all) but the wind kicking up here now is mental.

you gave me idea so just went and nuked myself a bowl of chicken noodle soup.

watching the flight tracker as he's not got long in chicago before his flight to omaha. He's on AA093 dublin to chicago.

He's calling when he gets home.....(about 3am uk time) He's going to give me a report on what dublin POE is like. If it's ok I'm going to go that way when I go over. Means you can fly over atlantic stress free as immigration all cleared before you get on plane.

it's hard to believe that after this massive torture-####### of NOA2 they put us through a month of waiting at NVC.

erics parents will arrive here on the 19th. things will get stressful, and i was hoping to have the interview lined up by the end of the year....

tried calling several times....can't seem to get through to a person, got thru last week and basically got.."keep waiting" the woman was nice though...said CSC is VERY SLOW.

Debz - Try calling US State Department: (202) 663-1225 - press 1, then 0. They are much easier to get through to, and more helpful. I talked to them yesterday and the guy gave me Griff's LND# and said it should ship out of NVC today or tomorrow.

Sorry about Nick having to go. The only positive thing I can say is that at least you know the separation won't be forever - we are finally on the last stretch of road!

I've gone from checking email inbox everyday pre noa2 to running to the mailbox when I hear it or when I come home from work. Where's my packet 3!!!

Why are you waiting to receive Package 3 in the mail? Can't you find the contents online somewhere and begin the steps so that you can get your interview as soon as possible? Even though I don't have a NOA2 yet, I already have Bogota's Package 3. As soon as I know our petition has arrived at the embassy I will be requesting an appointment.

There are scans of Packet 3 here on VJ, so Debz could put together everything now so that it could immediately turned around once she does receive packet 3. She can't schedule her medical, though, until she physically has packet 3. Griff tried to schedule his with just his LND# and they said he must have his Packet 3 first. And she can't send packet 3 back to LND until she has acyually received packet 3. Each embassy is a bit different.

more or less sorted for it getting here. Need to wait on Nick and co-sponsor sending notarised I134's and supporting evidence. Just now I don't even know if it's left CSC!!!

I just boxed up Charry's Christmas presents from myself and my parents along with 2 notorized copies of the I-134, one for her to give the embassy and one for her records.

I have a 3rd one that I am keeping for my records, also notorized. My bank does not charge for notorization so I abused them and got 3 copies

Still no NOA2 or even a touch. But my estimated date has gone from Jan 2 to Jan 4 back to Jan 3 in the past week...
