I wish anything meant anything at USCIS.

All you need is a modest house in a modest neighborhood

In a modest town where honest people dwell

Well unfortunately I did not make enough in 2006 to go above the income requirements as almost half the year I was in Kenya. This year however...I have done well, but do not get my W-2s until maybe January and do not want to delay the interview any longer as I will have to provide that info with the I-130 after he gets here (God willing) anyway. I got a letter from my employer, am getting a bank letter that shows how much has been deposited into my account this year AND I am including a most recent paystub to...once again...show my yearly accumulation. I am going to bring that to Rama when I arrive in Kenya on Dec 27th and by that time he should have his medical exam and packets done...ready to get an online interview appoitment scheduled.

I called NVC yesterday and they JUST received our paperwork that morning. I anticipate they should send the package to Nairobi within about a week. I keep checking weedebz profile to see if their packet arrived at the embassy yet...to give me hope!

Take care!

Best Regards,

Crissy

I had SUCH a lovely surprise last night :) :) :)

I was really down, and had waited up really late for my fiancé to finish work, and while we were talking on the phone I was so depressed about the whole thing - the process, the move, all the changes - just feeling so bad

well, my fiancé says that he has 'a secret' (which he quickly follows up with 'not anything bad or anything' ) and it's this:

he has been secretly colluding with my cousin, with whom I'm spending Christmas and New Year, and she has bought him a plane ticket as an early wedding present, so that he can arrive in Paris a few hours before we do (a couple of days after Christmas), and when we get off the Eurostar in the Gare Du Nord he'll be there waiting, and we'll have five days together in Paris over New Year :)

my mood changed after THAT, I can tell you

*so happy and excited*

we'd pretty much resigned ourselves to not seeing each other til we meet in Aus, which is likely to be April, the way things are going... now that wait is pretty much split in half :)

how lovely is my cousin, hey? :)

Lovely wonderful news!!! And Paris no less!! I love Paris! I'm so happy you'll get some time with your fiance! I'm flying to the UK , arriving 19 jan for a week. Hopefully it will only be a month after that until he is here for good!

I'm glad you are feeling cheered up! Now we just need to get you the best news yet - your NOA2!!!!

yeah, you said it... HOPEfully we'll have it by then, and can just enjoy the time away with no worries :)

so glad you're getting to spend some time with your guy too! and then yeah - a month is NOTHING, after all this time ;)

The Very Secret Diary of Legolas Son of Weenus - by Cassandra Claire

Day One: Went to Council of Elrond. Was prettiest person there. Agreed to follow some tiny little man to Mordor to throw ring into volcano. Very important mission - gold ring so tacky.

Day Six: Far too dark in Mines of Moria to brush hair properly. Am very afraid I am developing a tangle.

Orcs so silly.

Still the prettiest.

Day 35: Boromir dead. Very messy death, most unnecessary. Did get kissed by Aragorn as he expired. Does a guy have to get shot full of arrows around here to get any action? Boromir definitely not prettier than me. Cannot understand it. Am feeling a pout coming on.

Frodo off to Mordor with Sam. Tiny little men caring about each other, rather cute really.

Am quite sure Gimli fancies me. So unfair. He is waist height, so can see advantages there, but chunky braids and big helmet most off-putting. Foresee dark times ahead, very dark times.

People how do you use the RFE trick, even this USCIS rep guy I spoke with told me they do not have the capability to transfer anyone to service center which I told him its untrue, but if this RFE trick has worked for you just let me know how ya did it. Want to hear something substantial or concrete or maybe a touch on my case since I 'm filing as a divorced petitioner. I 'm kinda concern that this might be slowing my case down :help:

thanks

Lot of these approvals are giving me hope and at the same time concerns about my status. :innocent:

Follow these prompts

1, 2, 2, 4, 2, 1 Then enter your receipt number and press 1 to verify that it is correct. Press 1 again.

Good Luck!

Thanks alot MR2nice, I followed this info you gave me it worked. I spoke to this rep at CSC last week but she just gave me a general reply answer about my case status that they wont get to my case till march next year that they are still working on April which I know its a general answer she is giving me so I wont bother them again. But today I spoke with a guy there, at 1st he said my case is still in their file storage room and then he said again let me double check and when he did, he said my case is being reviewed now, so hopefully if there is no RFE I should be  ing soon. Both the reps were nice. Thanks again MR2nice.

I 'll pray with you too for no RFE. I haven't been touched yet but I 'm hoping for approval soon by the end of the week. We both actually have same date for our NOA1 approval or notice, so our timelines might be close to each other.

I have been touched twice by CSC now and it wasn't due to phone calls. I am excited to see something different then August 1, 2007 as my last update, but I am a stressed little ball of nerves at the moment. I hope I hear something soon. I would love to call Gareth and tell him we are approved.
