Well In my case, we'll probably have the wedding in May, the reason why we're doing this so late is because I want to be done with my 2nd year of Pharmacy School (also known as the hardest year out of the 4) to then be able to enjoy my wedding and the first few months of my marriage. Also since we'll be in florida May is the perfect time for an outside wedding, not too hot not too cold and the prices aren't so high because the "high season" for wedding usually starts in June. I'm getting the white dress, party favors, etc. and I've started to call around to get quotes so that way I know what my budget will be, I'm doing all of this now before going back to school because I know that during the semester i will have absolutely NO time for anything other than Rx School (:( ). Even though it sounds like something big, It's not going to be, I'm aiming for 50 guests or less, and fortunately some of his family members will be able to make it. After getting his paperwork settled, we're planning on doing a big celebration in Panama, but we'll handle that when the time comes lol. Well I hope I didn't bore anyone, I just thought that i could chip in what I'm doing once my other half finally gets here :)

August 8, 2008: We're married!! (both the ceremony and legal wedding)

September 11, 2008: Got the marriage certificate in the mail!! 

September 20, 2008: Sent AOS packet (I-485, EAD, AP)

September 22, 2008: USPS confirmed delivery at LockBox

September 26, 2008: Check Cashed!! :)

September 25, 2008: Recv'd date on all NOA's 

September 30, 2008: Received all 3 NOA's: I-485, EAD, AP

Ocotber 10, 2008: RFE for I-485 (needed proof of citizenship for sponsor) :S

October 21, 2008: Biometrics @12 pm in Ft. Lauderdale~over and done with in 5min!!~

October 22, 2008: documents for RFE sent via Priority Mail

October 24, 2008: documents received at MO

November 6, 2008: Case transferred to CSC :D

December 10, 2008: EAD approved!! Card production ordered!

Dec. 15, 2008: Rec'd EAD and AP via mail.

March 2, 2009: AOS Approved

March 9, 2009: Green Card Received!!!

March 24, 2020: N400 submitted (online)

January 2021: notice stating no new Biometrics needed

April 15, 2022: Notice to Appear for interview and exam

June 4, 2022: Interview/Exam Day! 🥳

I can't figure this out. The set-up looks perfect on the preview of the "Timeline", but on the actual post, the entries wrap around to the next line instead of having all the data on one line. Is there any way to get it to show the same as the preview where everyone's data is all on one line? Maybe changing the font size. I never should have started messing with this!!!!!!! :angry:

Don't you just hate computers? It is not wrapping on my monitor, but it will probably vary with monitor size and display settings.

Try removing all the quote info at the top and all the closing quote commands at the bottom. This will make it display as a new post and free up some display space. If that does not work, you can try a smaller font but that kind of works against your original goal.

Changing my screen resolution fixed my problem...duhhhhh...why didn't I think of that?

NOA1 - 1 August 2007

RFE 22 Dec 07 - Marty forgot to tick the box saying he had no prior convictions. He ticked the box, and sent it back the same day.

NOA2 18th January 2008!!! Woohoo!!!

Packet 3 received - Feb 7th 2008

Packet 3 returned - Feb 8th 2008

Medical scheduled - Feb 25th 2008 (I could have had it sooner, but I needed time to chase down my immunisation records).

Interview - March 10th 2008 Approved!!!

Received passport with K1 visa - March 12th 2008

POE JFK - April 12th 2008

May 31st - Got married!

Hmm. I just sent my lawyer an email asking for info on the date my I-129F arrived at VSC. They gave me the info, but then something i thought this crowd might find interesting... I'm sure you will all have an opinion about whether or not this is a good idea, but just take it for what it's worth. I asked her about finding information about this from USCIS, and she writes: "The more you badger (USCIS) the further down your petition goes to the end of the pile." Now, obviously not words out of the horse's (USCIS) mouth, but from someone that deals with them a lot, i think it's worth a moment of contemplation...

7/27/07-I-129F sent out to VSC via overnight mail

07/27/07-VSC receives our I-129F- signed for by A. SCOT

8/10/07-check cashed

that would seem to directly contravene their own clearly stated promise to 'deal with each petition in the order in which it arrived'...

not that THAT would surprise me :huh:

and both of the lists wrapped fine for me, Rick and Dixie, but then I DO have a very wide-screen computer ;)

The Very Secret Diary of Legolas Son of Weenus - by Cassandra Claire

Day One: Went to Council of Elrond. Was prettiest person there. Agreed to follow some tiny little man to Mordor to throw ring into volcano. Very important mission - gold ring so tacky.

Day Six: Far too dark in Mines of Moria to brush hair properly. Am very afraid I am developing a tangle.

Orcs so silly.

Still the prettiest.

Day 35: Boromir dead. Very messy death, most unnecessary. Did get kissed by Aragorn as he expired. Does a guy have to get shot full of arrows around here to get any action? Boromir definitely not prettier than me. Cannot understand it. Am feeling a pout coming on.

Frodo off to Mordor with Sam. Tiny little men caring about each other, rather cute really.

Am quite sure Gimli fancies me. So unfair. He is waist height, so can see advantages there, but chunky braids and big helmet most off-putting. Foresee dark times ahead, very dark times.

I hope nobody minds, but I thought I would mess with this a bit to make it a little easier to read.

Personally i thought the asterics blended in with the background and the dates stood out. now its a bunch of lines and grids and my eye doesnt go the dates first. i have to look at it twice to see the dates. for me its a bit mucked up now.

but whatever....

Hmm. I just sent my lawyer an email asking for info on the date my I-129F arrived at VSC. They gave me the info, but then something i thought this crowd might find interesting... I'm sure you will all have an opinion about whether or not this is a good idea, but just take it for what it's worth. I asked her about finding information about this from USCIS, and she writes: "The more you badger (USCIS) the further down your petition goes to the end of the pile." Now, obviously not words out of the horse's (USCIS) mouth, but from someone that deals with them a lot, i think it's worth a moment of contemplation...

Don't believe it for a moment!! Your lawyer really means that she doesn't want you badgering her! Once your check clears you can sign up to monitor your progress on USCIS's website. Besides, since you just filed it would be ages before you need to even think about calling! Don't let your lawyer fill you with fear!
