Hey All. Sorry for the radio silence here, I've just found it best for me to try and focus my mind on other things while we wait for all of these processes to occur.............

Anyway, I did want to give you the good news that today I received the notification e-mail from USCIS for Jovy's I-129F (filed with VSC). I was thinking as usual when I logged into e-mail that there's no way there would be anything in there, but alas I couldn't believe my eyes!! Yesterday my VJ timeline said we could be adjudicated as early mid December I think, so a great surprise. Hang in there everyone and good luck with your individual processes. Now Im gonna hurry up and start waiting for the local embassy processes to get complete so we can be together next year.

Timeline updated, it did take me a minute to remember how to do it after all this time, lol. I am sure I'll have to learn it again soon for next update.

Just a quick update on our status... The Consulate at Guayaquil received our application on 12 November, and sent out the Packet 4 to Belen. Belen received the packet yesterday, and scheduled her interview today. She has a tentative interview set for the 23rd of January. The reason this date is tentative is because we requested an expedite on her interview due to military reasons. We requested a date between 17 and 21 December, as this is the very soonest we know they will be able to accommodate us. Anyway, hopefully we find out if our military expedite for an interview is approved by the end of the week. We are keeping our fingers crossed.

Best of luck to everyone. Once our package made it thru USCIS, the whole processed went a whole lot faster.

Hey Can I ask a question...are any of you to the point, where if you logon to the USCIS information page and you see your NOA1 date ONE MORE TIME...you feel like you're going to SCREAM!!

I think I'm at THAT POINT!!! IF I SEE AUGUST 7, 2007 ONE-MORE-TIME!!!!! AAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHH!!!!!

Ok, that's it...just wondering if I'm alone on this one!!

Totally agree with you on that one - I check every day at least once if not more and I try not to get my hopes up - I always feel like I am doing a good job of that until I see 26th July 2007 and I feel my heart sink - just to let me know that maybe I'm not doing such a great job of not getting my hopes up after all

be careful... it might develop into a Pavlovian response, and next year you'll be somewhere in a bank or somewhere, and someone will innocently say "What's the date?" and when you hear 'August 7...' you'll start to twitch and whimper, and have to lie down in the foetal position

Thats EXACTLY how I feel... My friend JUST found out she's pregnant and her due date is...Yup...August 7th!! I was like...OH HELL NO!!!!! "Are they sure???? Can they give you an new date???" LOL

Haha!!! At least it's only a due date - it will be much much worse if she actually gives birth on her due date!!! At least you won't forget the birthday

Oh! Just a thought as well Debz - would it be an idea underneath both the CSC and VSC Rec.-NOA2 date to put the average days? Is there a way this can be done using some kind of spangly formula? It's only cause I am lazy and can't be bothered to keep adding them all up and dividing them by the number of approvees

I think there is a June/July filers NOA2-NVC thread that can answer you better - I think people have been calling USCIS/NVC to find out - you can prolly dig out the numbers in the other thread though

We have almost the exact same timeline, so my expected date is 1/01/08 right now too... If we don't get our NOA2s before that, it'll be a hell of a way to start the new year! Good luck to you!

Well, my timeline is about a week before yours and my VJ date is December 15th now. It's gone from December 17 to the 28th and everywhere in between. So now I'm excited
