Hey Can I ask a question...are any of you to the point, where if you logon to the USCIS information page and you see your NOA1 date ONE MORE TIME...you feel like you're going to SCREAM!!

I think I'm at THAT POINT!!! IF I SEE AUGUST 7, 2007 ONE-MORE-TIME!!!!! AAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHH!!!!!

Ok, that's it...just wondering if I'm alone on this one!!

I've only recently started checking once per day, but yes, I do find it sad. I think its still a tad early for us, though Gill! Soon! I'm thinking definitely before Christmas!!!!

be careful... it might develop into a Pavlovian response, and next year you'll be somewhere in a bank or somewhere, and someone will innocently say "What's the date?" and when you hear 'August 7...' you'll start to twitch and whimper, and have to lie down in the foetal position

I am at the point where I enter the wac number, get a different page, my jumps because I think something has happened...and it just that I transposed the numbers....

But yes, when I put in the correct numbers and just see the noa1 date....I want to scream.

Then I get paranoid and can't help but wonder if USCIS has a counter so that they can see how often petitioners have checked in on there case.....maybe they have a secret sweepstakes?

YES. I offically hate the date "07/25/2007", which was our last touch. I also really hate:

"Application Type: I129F, PETITION FOR FIANCE(E)

Current Status: Case received and pending.

On July 19, 2007, we received this I129F PETITION FOR FIANCE(E), and mailed you a notice describing how we will process your case.... etc, etc".

I feel like I'm slowly going insane.

Thats EXACTLY how I feel... My friend JUST found out she's pregnant and her due date is...Yup...August 7th!! I was like...OH HELL NO!!!!! "Are they sure???? Can they give you an new date???" LOL

I am actually dreaming of seeing a new date now...NO JOKE!!! A few days ago...I had a dream that I logged on to the USCIS Website and my case showed a new date. Boy, I woke up with a SMILE on my face (ear to ear). Cause I just knew this was a sign from above that my day had finally come!! I run downstairs to my computer, Like a kid waking up on Christmas morning...log on and what do I see, sitting right there starring me in the face...AUGUST 7, 2007!!!! ARRRRRRGGGGGGHHHHH!!!!!!!

I think the adjudicators in CSC use the files as a coffee mat for a month or so before sending them to NVC.
