Am I? I have heard people say that it is one of the faster ones, but I don't know that much about it. We're all learning right?

Thanks for the words of encouragement. I am a nervous wreck about this whole thing. I just want her here.

All you need is a modest house in a modest neighborhood

In a modest town where honest people dwell

You are! Montreal is MUCH slower. At one point the wait was 5-6 months for the interview, though I think it might be a bit better at the moment. I don't know the exact average for Vancouver but I think maybe it's 1 month or less? Anyhoo, yeah, you can do some searching around here and I'm sure there is information on Vancouver and it's average wait times. Once you get your NOA2 you should have a fairly quick rest of the process.

And I hear you... we all hear you. We all want our SO's here already.

A quick question for you guys... Did any of you include a copy of the beneficiary's birth certificate in the petition package? It seems like some people are getting RFEs for it.

Even though it's not on the list of required documents, I really wish Will and I had included a copy of mine in now... :(

Well I have been reading that there are RFE's coming. Ugh. I am very worried now because I didn't include his birth certificate with the petition - in fact he just sold his house and cannot find it in the boxes and boxes of stuff that he has stored at a friend's house. We were trying to get things ready for the I134 and will need the birth certificate for that. I am keeping my fingers crossed that they don't need it right now, or if they do, he'll have replacement ordered. I was just hoping that this would be smooth sailing. NOT!

I am keeping up the positive though - trying.

On a very positive note, my daughter's X-rays turned out great and it looks as if she can finally go to school tomorrow if she feels up to it. Yahoooooooo!

Continued good luck to everyone!

Uh oh!!

I included mine. I did not have a copy of Charry's. And it is not in the list of documents that are requested.

I did not submit Bella's. I wanted to, but if I waited to get a translated copy we would have missed the price increase deadline. So I decided to submit the petition without it.

I have it ready to go in case we get an RFE. Even so, I will be very annoyed if we get an RFE since the beneficiary bc is not listed as a requirement.

I will be very upset too - I mean - come on - they didn't ask for it. What else did they not ask for that they may need?
