No probs! I've also put a thread in the main K-1 forum (though it is prolly in the wrong place ) for UK filers and am trying to see if there is an interest for a VJ-wide map

I'm just trying to figure out the screwy code to get the maps onto our website

After much fannying about I have managed to put myself on the map.

I added myself to the one in the main K1 forum too.

Cool I know most of you did but I have just moved all the others to the first map to consolidate and deleted the others to avoid confusion! Apologies if I accidently deleted anyone

I also added some extra instructions - it's not very clear on the site but you have to click the little x in the top right to save the details you put in the pin detail (did that even make sense?) I think I have clarified the instructions anyway... if anyone has any questions just ask and I will try and make the info more, well, informative

Added myself to the map as well. Great idea!

Also, a tip - after placing your marker, center the map to view the whole US, then hit "Save and Generate Code". That'll make it easier for everybody to see the whole map ^^

Hey it's ok! You weren't the only one so I take responsibility of not providing clear instructions! I've had a play with quikmaps before so I kinda knew what I was doing and took for granted everyone else would figure it out!

And first thing in the morning with no coffee is as valid an excuse as any!! Just double check I put you in the right place!

Oh - and because I am really sad and geeky:

I just took a look at the maps and found us MIA.

Done - I only added Rick as I'm trying to get the future locations of people otherwise things get *really* confusing

Oh - and apologies - you must have been one of the few I managed to delete when I put the other people on the main map >< I added you to the VisaJourney main map as well even though it doesn't have many people on it yet... Spread the word!!

and about the July filers observation - I think you're right

(of course, we were just ready to file at this time and the fee increase was irrelevant to that, but I wonder if it's played some little part in boosting our numbers...? guess we'll see )

Attention Everyone:

PLEASE MAKE SURE YOU ARE QUOTING THE MOST RECENT VERSION OF THE TIMELINE BEFORE YOU ENTER NEW DATA!

If you do not do this, you run the risk of deleting someone else's entries. Go to the bottom of the last page and then browse upward and forward until you find the timeline. That is the one where you should enter your data.
