for the first time since I filed I am showing a touch dated 11/15/07. please please please let it be like weedebz and let my approval be just after the touch and PLEASE NO RFE......okay just had to share my pleading and hoping. now I will be checking the online status like crazy and a complete mess until I know what it means. I leave for London to see Matt in like 24 hours and would love to have something to celebrate (other than just getting to be together of course!!!)

I called USCIS customer service today to see if they might have any different story on my case status since the automated machine doesn't have any record of my case but there wasn't any new story, and the rep was talking so fast that I thought maybe she was in a Fast reader reading Competition. She seems like she was reading it too from a computer screen things she was saying. All she said was that my case is still within the 6 months frame, but I 'm very optimistic about the CSC results lately. Looking forward to this month or next month. Just worried about the fact that I filed so soon after I divorced.

just wanted to say that as long as your divorce was final before they received your application it should be fine. I had similiar questions because while my ex and I had lived apart for more than a year and had been separated a long time, we did not get around to filing until for a while, so my final divorce date is only a week before CSC received my K1 application. I consulted an immigration attorney and they told me it would not matter as its not the adjudicating officer's job to judge the timing of my relationship but rather the validity! sooooo, don't stress and hope for more july approvals SOON!!!!!!

Thanks, I won't stress as you said. I 'm very optimistic as one of july filers. I 'm on this site almost every minute its crazy cos each approval keeps my hope alive.

Oh and I have found something out....the csc servers update info in blocks. One of the updates is around 10am GMT. It is when the bulk of updates are done as no one in there working as it's very very am at CSC. I assume VSC do the same but times will be different.

I found out from a colleague who used to be an immigration lawyer, now an international corporate lawyer. She got it from their IT guys when discussing a problem with their systems. Makes sense, alot of large businesses do it. Systems collate information in real-time but only update external servers (which is what we'll be accessing) 2 or 3 times a day with a BIG update in the wee small hours so it doesn't take up processor time when people are working. I was telling her about yesterday....I checked my status at 8am, no change then I "had a feeling" and checked at 11am and BINGO! This confused me as I knew they wouldn't have been working.

Makes perfect sense! I'm in IT and that's exactly how we do it and for that exact reason... resources.

I'm SO happy for you weedebz!!!! Looks like unless something weird happens your wedding will go as planned! And yay for a touch for teachmehistory!! It's all very very promising....i'm so happy!!!

Now I'm concerned about getting all of my other stuff together, letters from employer and bank etc. Plus I still haven't even really started hardcore wedding planning. I still need underthings for my wedding dress...and need to figure out logistics of the wedding details like the license, making sure all my children can be there, etc. I'm making my daughter's dress..she'll be my bridesmaid, and I haven't even started that yet!

Okay I'm droning on...but i'm so excited! Thanks uscis for your hard work....YAY!!!!

thank you so much!!! I am bouncing off the walls right now....and trying to finish packing - leaving to see my fiance tomorrow and just can't concentrate! I really do think there is a positive trend and approvals are picking up pace. I am sending everyone positive juju that we see more and more approvals. they are coming guys, just hold on and think postitive happy soon-to-be-married-to-our-loved-ones thoughts
