Fun day today..

1st I show up at work at 9am, and get asked what I'm doing there :huh: Turns out I was late shift and showed up 3 hours early. :clock:

We finally got paid our Q3 bonuses today. :dance: Yay, unexpected cash to help pay off credit cards. I hope to have most of them gone by the time Charry arrives.

Then I end up staying late cause I volonteered to fix a computer...

On my way home I got..er.. front ended??? :blink: Come up to a stop light behind someone else. He apparently decided he was too far into the intersection and backed into me... :oops: Then as we inspect the damage he says its all ok and tries to leave. :bonk: I see scuffage and its a new car, 2007. His wife gets out of the truck and says to me, "You are going to report THIS?" :wacko:

Nutjobs... I'm a little wakky today cause not only do I have 2 late shifts this week, I'm also on call all weekend and I have to work on Sunday... Oh that and I worked a 12 hours shift. And I wanted to play with the smilies...

The Very Secret Diary of Legolas Son of Weenus - by Cassandra Claire

Day One: Went to Council of Elrond. Was prettiest person there. Agreed to follow some tiny little man to Mordor to throw ring into volcano. Very important mission - gold ring so tacky.

Day Six: Far too dark in Mines of Moria to brush hair properly. Am very afraid I am developing a tangle.

Orcs so silly.

Still the prettiest.

Day 35: Boromir dead. Very messy death, most unnecessary. Did get kissed by Aragorn as he expired. Does a guy have to get shot full of arrows around here to get any action? Boromir definitely not prettier than me. Cannot understand it. Am feeling a pout coming on.

Frodo off to Mordor with Sam. Tiny little men caring about each other, rather cute really.

Am quite sure Gimli fancies me. So unfair. He is waist height, so can see advantages there, but chunky braids and big helmet most off-putting. Foresee dark times ahead, very dark times.

as it gets closer to Nov 11th here in UK (uk memorial day) it made me think as you know I'm now getting married on 31st may (US memorial weekend) so after a few discussions it has been decided on our way to reception from ceremony bridal party stopping off at memorial enroute to lay my "throwing" bouquet at memorial. I have lost a friend and have 3 more fighting in this war so its something close to my heart.

that sounds really really nice and thoughtful!

we will put the flowers on my grandparents graves.

in my family there is lots of tradition of honoring those, who aren't with us anymore.

yes he is correct. he said he thought it would be before Nov 13th i think. However i didnt take his bet lol. it would have been for a case of Guiness. I dont recall anyone else guessing when the first July filer would be approved.

and their approve is awesome news for all us July filers . :dance:

10/03/2008 - AOS touched (probably that RFE coming soon!!!!)
