So I don't know if anyone has noticed their dates, but my approval date slid back several dates.

I'm back to November 30th now!

I had been as high up as December 10th.

Oh and moved from Dec 7th to 13th previously, now I'm to the 18th

I noticed. I'm now back to Dec 9th.

Yeah I know - i think also when the novelty wears off it isn't so addicting but it is a more informal way of keeping up to date with people instead of sending e-mails where sometimes you feel like you have to say alot

True but it seems like people have all sorts of crazy stuff on it. Games...I even saw an option to send cyber underwear to ur friends!

Yay..I got to see my fiance today after 58 days 7 hrs etc.. but unfortunately, he was only at the airport 3hrs for a layover flight to UK. Well 3 hrs is better than nothing. I can reset my signature timer now.

I was going to come in here and make a joke about getting NOA2, but realized it wasn't funny.

Just about at 100 days now from receipt date.

It's all good. I'll be looking for your petition approval first and expect to be within a week or two. Will be happy when we clear that next step, but I know the 4 months or more before the consulate acts and sends out packets will be a pain too. If we get the approval without a RFE I won't complain much about this step of the process.

That's cos an October filer with a Cuban fiance was approved in 2 weeks. It skews the results, so all of our dates look better. I still think I'll be lucky to be approved by the end of December.

I went from Dec 19 yesterday to Dec. 10th today.... although i know a few people on here who's dates are in September and they still havent seen anything.

As Julezabelle previously noted, there have been some recent results that have skewed the VSC projected adjudication dates. (PAD). The PAD is based upon the petition sent date and an average processing time of recent approvals. 2 of the last 3 VSC approvals were for petitions sent in September. Meanwhile filers without RFE's from early May are still waiting.

Unfortunately the average processing time for VSC petitions will increase as the 2 September petitions get averaged out and the VSC PAD's will move farther out again.

If you are wondering why VSC is approving September petitions you are not alone. One was for a Cuban beneficiary and they always receive expedited processing. I assume it is because some politicians with CubanAmercian constituents were able to permanently influence the process. There is no explanation as to why the other September petition was approved so quickly. Even the grateful petitioner is baffled by their good luck.

yes i will be glad just to get through this stage without an RFE, then settle down for the next 4-5 month wait

We're now contemplating the necessity to postpone the wedding if need be and are trying to find the money to reimburse my entire family for plane tickets etc - I only wish we knew more about the process before they booked everything *sigh*

Don't beat yourself up over this jeraly! You didn't know! And seriously, knowing what I know I would have thought that your Feb. wedding date was entirely achievable based on previous CSC trends. The sad thing is that those are just trends and not guarantees. I seriously never thought we'd be seeing these wait times! *sigh* I hate this!

i'm on 5th dec.

Wedding still set for 31st may. I really don't want to move it again...I hope the need to doesn't arise....I really will break down if it does. That will have been almost 11 months since filing!!!

Glad someone understands that I am not a moron! Very disheartening when you see comments from some people about how people are silly for setting early wedding dates but when we filed we were looking at a 90 day wait... Now we're at that point and the end still isn't in sight *sigh*

Am having to sort out car insurance and tax for my car that is sworn off road but in a way that I don't end up driving my old or new car illegally - it is doing my head in and I am feeling down so forgive my misery!

I must admit I've got serious downers just now. The end is no-where in sight. Trying to work out if there is any bits and pieces me and nick can do for next stage whilst he's still here. Only part really is up-to-date letter of intent and ongoing relationship stuff. Can't do i-134 as info will probably change once he goes back and gets work, plus there is the notarising bit and co-sponsor stuff. I just feel we should be doing something!

Well thats the wedding invites ordered. Well the componants...me being the artsyfartsy type I'm making em myself. Nick really arty too so we designed them together. Lots of cream and gold, very simple and celtic swirly bits.
