The past 2 days were Saturday and Sunday. It's likely there is nothing to update.

Woohooo I am officially a July Filer now!!! Its been a few weeks since I visited VJ!!! Was trying to take my mind off waiting for the NOA1 but today finally in the mail, I received my NOA1 and the "Received date" on it shows July 28th! Had a terrible October so far with lots of things on the family front but this one makes it all better! Thanks so much to everyone here - I would have been even less sane without VJ.com!

Was trying to take my mind off waiting for the NOA1 but today finally in the mail, I received my NOA1 and the "Received date" on it shows July 28th! Had a terrible October so far with lots of things on the family front but this one makes it all better! Thanks so much to everyone here - I would have been even less sane without VJ.com!

Horray! I had been wondering where/how you were. I am so pleased for you that you finally got that NOA1 and your petition was processed correctly in the end. It must have been really worrying for you all this time but I'm proud of you for not taking the easy option back in July when this all looked so hopeless. Congrats! *big hug*

I wish my car cost me that much to put through MOT - my car failed on eight counts and had 10 advisories... I've had to buy a new car

regarding car...mine is only 5 years old, needed 2 new tyres, anti roll bars needed new links and rear suspension needed tweking. Tyres were more expensive than roll bar fix....thats what I get for having fancy rims and low profile tyres (you'd think they would be cheaper as less rubber!) Just think...no MOT's in US. My tax cost £112 for 6 months but again thats what I get for having a 2litre sports engine!

Thanks girl! You are right, I would have just easily gone and paid the extra money, but it would not have worked out! I am so glad I listened to everyone here. Turned out for the better! Thanks so much **bigger hug** I feel like everything has roared back to life within me after this NOA1.

Phil tried to explain to me the MOT etc for the cars. He has just sold both of his cars and he spent some money getting them checked out. I'm still very confused about it. No worries now - he has the company car until he moves here. Which by the way couldn't go slower.....tick.......................tock...
