I don't know how many of you are watching the VSC thread, but several of those who had been waiting forever and ever are now finding out about their approvals.

And I, too, have seen some of the June filers be approved.

So, don't give up hope yet. If these trends keep up, chances are we will actually get our approvals before year's end.

I would love to have ours before Nick goes back to nebraska Dec 6th but I'm not hopeful. My estimated date at the moment is dec 4th

Am still on Dec 26 last I checked :/ As for the RFE - well I am kinda expecting one for the photos so am preparing for the worst but maybe we'll get lucky - not expecting the visa before the "wedding" anyway so not that bothered (in theory )

why you expecing RFE for photos? I'm expecting one due to not enough evidence. We didn't know we needed boarding passes so never kept any. All we sent was screen dump of my inbox showing emails (nick lost all of his when he had a problem with his email) , 4 photos taken at different times and locations (2 here and 2 there), scan of passport stamps, flight itineries, ticket purchase reciepts and a couple of emails.

Several pics from several locations (London in 06, here in 06, here in 07)

Copies of all the ticket stubs, etc, from when I went to London (Boarding passes, Underground tickets, etc)

Copies of her boarding passes here

Copy of her passport

Picture of engagement ring receipt / the ring itself

Picture of her wearing said ring.

Um.

I can't remember what else I sent for evidence, but yeah. I don't anticipate any RFE's now...I think we covered the bases. The fun part will be the affidavit of support part...hoo boy.

Ur passport stamps might get u through as long as they coincide with either of ur place of residence or if u two went somewhere together. But who knows what these ppl really want.

If we get an RFE I just want them to hurry up and let us know what they need. I'm a bit concerned about a couple of things. But i've convinced myself I'm worrying too much. My passport photo looked a little blurry, I'm not sure the lady that took it knew what she was doing. I was going to send more email copies...but...um.....most of them were a bit too....um.....personal..yeah that's the word. But perhaps it would show how amorous we are and that our relationship is bonafide??? sheeeesh. I tried to black out some private stuff from a hand written letter he sent me. But half the letter was 'sharpied', so I didn't include it.

You don't need the emails for the petition stage. That will come in handy for the interview.

It was such a quiet day today. I want more approvals. I wonder what really happened on yesterday and today. There should be more people to update their timelines. I cannot wait to marry my fiance and have my new life with him. I hate to be where I am and wait for my visa. I hope that everyone should have no problems and get visas soon;)

Well I sent UK standard passport photos instead of the 2inch by 2 inch ones that are US standard - but that was after we too the 3/4 shot ones as well - we sent the facing forward ones but they aren't the right size - some people have been fine with that but others get RFEs so I guess it depends on who is dealing with your petition

As for evidence... well I think we sent pretty much everything we could - boarding passes, tickets to disneyland with the date I was there on and pictures of us together at disneyland etc - passport stamps, e-mails dating back for six years, phone bills, photos, letters addressed to the both of us - probably all the proof of ongoing relationship stuff that we will need at interview - but they got it all anyway!!!

Didn't duplicate the packet though - didn't realise we needed to until we had sent it :/ Owel - they got it so let's just hope they don't lose it when it goes to NVC/Embassy!!!
