yep they the same thing...still, the earlier I can get there the better...makes last minute arrangement easier when you not 5000miles away. Definatly taken a wee bit of the stress off.

Well wedding moved.....only by 4 weeks but I think 4 weeks can mean alot in this overdrawn process. So instead of May 3rd it's now May 31st. Even managed to get same places.

Until she has visa on hand, in the passport I just wouldn't feel comfortable making any sort of arrangements, but that is only in my case.

In your case I hope it is smooth sailing and the timing works out.

Actually, I feel the same way.

We haven't made any concrete plans at all yet because we don't have any idea when she's going to get here.

Until at the very least she's had her interview and gotten the Visa, I'm not worried about it.

What stinks for me is even after NOA2 for me I see 6-8+ months more. On one hand I just want the petition approved, so I can finish prepping the next part, but on the other hand this backlog is already adding 1-2 months to the petition part and it's hard to get excited.

Hear you brother, I'm figuring on May or June for interview assuming GUZ does to get slower due to more petitions and we just pile up together in their warehouse.

well thats the friday night Vino opened...my regular californian zinfandel (who knows this may be cheaper once I'm over there!)

OK here's a question to the wine drinking americans...how much does a semi decent bottle of californian zinfandel cost over there (if it's red it it's not real zinfandel, should be a definate dark purple)

Got ben & jerry's cookie dough ice cream too....half price in ben & jerry'smorrisons just now for all you UK-ers...get there before I do...I have a ben & jerry's addiction to cookie dough, chunky monkey and phish food!

Haha! Yay to the vino - tho I started earlier than you - I am almost finished on my second glass!!!

I know the wine was so cheap when I was there - I fell in love with one called Paisano - never heard of it before but it was $7 for a gallon

Love cookie dough B&J's as well Went to the Ben and Jerry's cafe in Palm Springs which was soo cool Was so hot I couldn't face ice cream though - had to have a sorbet!! We stocked up on B&J's majorly last summer We had anything from 2-4 varieties in the freezer at any one time

Oh, that can be such a matter of opinion! If I said $10-15, a real wine snob would probably laugh in my face. What I would do is look up the one you have at an American store's website and see if you can find it and what it costs. Try these:
