90days since NOA1 received today........ more then half of the way is done!

We are really in a panic regarding our wedding date and the fact the latest I could get there is 16th april due to marriage licence. We are looking into moving it into june/july. We may have to consider a different venue. Instead of the 1888 wee church in the museum it would be the one Nicks family go to. It's really nice as far as back up venues go. Has a lovely part with lots of stained glass windows which lights up all multicoloured when sun shines and it has a wee garden bit. It's not our first choice (thats the museum) but it's still good.

Can't believe it's coming to this and I thought we were safe with 3rd may.

Yes, I think its 2 or possibly 3 June VSC filers. (Aside from those entitled to expedited processing)

Haha - used to play Vampire too - the system got a bit annoying at the higher levels though when you needed about five million d10s to do anything

Now we normally play D&D or d20 Modern

Not even sure what date I am on - have given up checking so often - will look in a bit but I expect nothing has changed on USCIS and my timeline is prolly on Boxing Day now

I'm pretty sure she's just not convinced the US government will get off it's butt soon enough and process her petition from the service center to NVC and then get it to the UK in time.

I believe I've seen people talk about the UK embassy (London) being pretty fast in terms of overall interview times, but I'm not certain.

I sure hope so cause my woman is coming through there soon

Yeah I see what you mean. Actually I would guess that applications might revert to the mean instead of hoping for the worst but who knows. It sure is a pain to make plans I think we all know that. I for one am tired of the constant question of "when are you getting married?"

The one thing I'm holding some hopes for is that there appear to be 40% fewer June filers to get through than May filers based on the stats I've seen here.

Unfortunately, only one of those June filers actually filed in June. The rest were May filers.

Perhaps, but they are still getting some of the backlog out of the way. This has to be a good thing! I must try to stay positive.

ok...I see EIGHT approvals at CSC yesterday(7 k1 and 1 k3)......wow...keep this up and I might just make it to my own wedding!!!! They handing out esspressos or something?

I've just found out that the place I got my info about applying for marriage licence 2 weeks in advance were wrong....so as long as I can get there a few days before may 3rd I'd be ok. Still look at alternatives though.

What stinks for me is even after NOA2 for me I see 6-8+ months more. On one hand I just want the petition approved, so I can finish prepping the next part, but on the other hand this backlog is already adding 1-2 months to the petition part and it's hard to get excited.

I'm with you. I figure this whole process will take almost a year before my SO and I are finally together (and we've already been together for 5 years). After NOA2 I figure approximately a month to wait for NVC and then waiting on the interview will be another 5-6 months. So it's still quite a while.

i guess i could deal with the backlog, if it WOULD NOT AFFECT THE NVC!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

hell, we have to wait right now as if we are criminals, and then it will probably take ANOTHER FREEKIN' MONTH till the embassy receives my stupid paperwork????
